JACKSON, Mr. Philip - Age 72, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023. A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. Burial 2:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2023 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd., Pastor Allen C. Overton Sr., officiating. Mr. Philip (King) Jackson was born August 3, 1950 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Margaret Jackson. Philip was employed at General Motors Corporation. Upon retiring he fulfilled his lifelong dream by purchasing his dream home in Grand Blanc, MI, however retirement did not slow down his entrepreneurial spirit. He ventured into the Real Estate Industry, Home Improvement & Roofing, amidst all of his projects there was one that held a truly special place in his heart (his man toy) it was his labor of love. It is with heavy hearts that we gather today to celebrate the extraordinary life of Philip (King) Jackson. A man whose quiet and reserved demeanor masked a depth of character and a heart full of compassion. Philip was an observer of the world around him, taking in every detail with a keen eye and a thoughtful mind. He possessed a rare ability to truly understand and empathize with others, always extending a helping hand to those in need. He was a perfect example of “Actions Speak Louder Than Words.” Philip’s success in life was a testament to his determination and perseverance. He achieved great things not only in his professional endeavors but also in his personal growth. Despite his many achievements he remained humble and kind hearted, his gentle presence brought comfort and solace to those who sought his guidance. Let us remember him as a remarkable individual who lived life to the fullest. His legacy will endure through the lives he touched, the minds he expanded and the hearts he uplifted. Rest In Peace “King Philip.” You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. King Philip has earned his wings and is going to join his Mother, Margaret D. Jackson; 3 sisters, Joan Jackson, Patricia Hambrick and Jacqueline Collins; brother, Joseph B. Jackson; a host of relatives and friends; special cousins, Kenneth Copeland, Arthur “Lovie Dove” Roper Jr.
