Mrs. Pearlie Mae Winford

WINFORD, Mrs. Pearlie Mae - Age 83, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Kith Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Thursday, May 4, 2023, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with a memorial service commencing at 11:00 AM Rev. Harold Timberlake, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Thursday. There will be no public viewingMrs. Pearlie Mae Winford was born January 17, 1940 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, the daughter of Joe Willie and Mollie Winford. Pearlie loved going to church on Sundays and revivals. When she became unable to go to church, she would listen to the Church Radio Broadcast on AM 1420, every Sunday afternoon at 1:00PM. Her hobby was going to the casino on the bus with senior citizens. She was of a very quiet characteristic, she stayed to herself. Pearlie was a homebody, but she loved shopping at Meijer and Walmart, and watching TBN and their Host Pastors. She also loved to order clothes out of the catalog, talking on the phone to her close associates whom have passed on before her. Pearlie loved doing her house chores, she was very clean. Mrs. Pearlie Mae Winford leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Delories Watson; son, Darnell Watson; grandchildren, Ronell Watson and Rodney Watson, all of Flint; great-grandchildren, Logan and Lauren Watson, Braylen and Brielle Watson, Ahnesti Martin, Journi Watson, Justice Watson, J’cee Watson, Destiny Watson, Legend Watson, Royal Watson, Alexus Meeks, Alaijah Meeks and Daemarius Meeks; 4 sisters, Minnie Winford, Lula Winford, Eula Winford and Mamie Cayton of Flint; brother, Joe Willie Winford Jr. of Memphis, TN; a host of nieces including, Natasha Bennett of Flint; 4 nephews, Leon Bennett, Carlee Bailey, Samuel Bailey and Ricky Jackson; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Mrs. Veria Lee Neely. Mrs. Winford was preceded in death by her Grandson, Mardell Watson; Parents, Joe Willie and Mollie Winford; Grandparents, Hattie and Joe Willie Winford Sr.; Sisters, Hattie Bennett, Doretha Getter and Sarah Johnson; Brothers, Tobbie, Sammie, James, Joe Jr., Jessie, LC and Walter.
