ELLISON, Ms. Pearley Mae - Age 76, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at her residence. Ms. Ellison will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Friday, August 6, 2021 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Ms. Pearley Mae Ellison was born June 10, 1945 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the Herman and Iola (Peters) Ellison, Pearley was a graduate of Flint Northern High School, “Class of 1963.” “Miss Pearl” as she was affectionately known was employed as a Waitress and worked retail. She was also employed by MTA. She loved going to the casino and playing Bingo. But her most loved thing to do was cook, her pinto beans, collard greens, chicken-n-dumplings, cobblers and hot water corn bread would make you hurt yourself. Pearley had a heart of gold, always a giver and she didn’t bite her tongue. Ms. Pearley Mae Ellison leaves to cherish her memory: children, Vicky Ellison, Marzella Williams, Janice Gilbert, Alverine Simpson, Floyd Williams, Walter (Nicole) Ellison, all of Flint and Kurtis Ellison-Williams of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, James (Yolanda) Williams of Piedmont, SC, Sharonda (Brysyn) Biggs of Fort Wayne, IN, Lt.
