Mrs. Pauline Brown

BROWN, Mrs. Pauline - Age 88, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at her residence. Family hour 4:30 PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 5:00 PM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 4:30 PM Saturday. Mrs. Brown will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Friday, with family present to receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Mrs. Pauline Brown was born November 10, 1932 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Lucille and William Denson. Pauline was a life-long resident of Flint. She grew up as a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and later joined New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. Pauline graduated from Flint Northern High School. She was employed by General Motors Corporation, retiring in 1984. Pauline enjoyed listening to music, traveling and gatherings with family and friends. She loved horses and her biggest interest was her family. Pauline made people feel special, she spoke her mind and always handled people with open arms and an open heart. Pauline was a volunteer for the Red Cross as a Disaster Relief Worker and she was also a contributor to St. Jude for Children. Mrs. Pauline Brown leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Kim Middleton; 2 sons, Andre (Rosalind) Brown and Anthony Brown Sr., all of Flint; grandchildren, Ericia Brown of Texas, Niecole Middleton, Dee’Andre Middleton, Anthony Brown Jr., Sha’Monica Price, Andre Brown Jr., Kristen Middleton, Kelli Evans, Shanice Middleton, Michael Colen, Tae’Quan Hall, Langston Brown, Derontae Brown, D’Niya Brown and Brittany Maclin; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Edna Robinson and Dorthy Flippin; brother, Elton Denson, all of Flint; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends at 700 E. Court, Willie Davis, Herb Colen, Stephen family and the Price family, Wayne Jones, David McEwen and Venita Washington. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Willie P. Brown; daughters, Lucille “Lulu” Denson, Kelly Brown, Lynn Brown and Sherry Middleton; son, Eric Middleton; grandson, Eric Brown; parents, William and Lucille Denson; sisters, Martha Cooper and Thelma Patton; brothers, William Denson Jr. and Gerald Denson; and nephew, Robert Cooper; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center, Grace of God Church, Michelle Young and the office staff of Dr. Randolph Shumaker.
