PATRICK, Ms. Paula Marie - Age 51, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at her residence. Family hour 10AM Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Higher Dimension Ministries, with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Pastor Samuel L. Hall officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Saturday. Ms. Patrick will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mrs. Paula M. Patrick was born on May 11, 1956 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Harold and Ollie Horne. Paula was faithful member of Higher Dimensions Ministries since she was 16 years old. Throughout her Christ filled life, she held many offices and roles that demonstrated her dedication to God and her church, Sunday School Superintendent, teacher, church administrator, choir member, soloist, playwright and praise dance team member. Paula touched the lives of many people with her humor, wisdom and passion for doing God's work. Paula attended both Northwestern and Hill McCloy High School. She graduated from Hill McCloy in 1974, and went on to receive a Bachelor degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Paula's career included 23 years of service at Genesee County Community Mental Health, ACT Program, as a Mental Health Specialist. Paula was the loving wife, companion and friend to Larry Patrick for 21 years. She was the wonderful mother to Zalondra Dennie, Theresa Rudolph, Jason (Victoria) Patrick, Isaiah (Deanna) Patrick and also Twynette (Omar) Williams, Larry D. Patrick and Vincedward Robinson; She was the proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews. In a family of 6 children she was the eldest sister of Anthony Horne, Valerie (Fredric) Gray, Harold Horne, Jr., Yvette Harris and Michael (Tyreka) Horne. She leaves a very special place in her heart for her Pastor Sammie L. Hall, Sr. and the entire Higher Dimensions Ministries Church family, including her dear and long time friends, Jennifer Mitchell and Louella Jamerson. The family would like to thank Pastor Clarence Lewis and the New Beginnings Ministries Church family, Pastor Urundi Knox and the Ebenezer Ministries Church family.
