Mrs. Patricia Louise Walker

WALKER, Mrs. Patricia Louise - age 57, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her residence. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. with funeral service commencing at 2 p.m. Pastor Kenneth Williams officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Walker will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Patricia Louise Walker was born September 8, 1956 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Alberta Phifer and Willie “June” Phifer. Patricia was affiliated with New City of Hope Church in Flint, under the leadership of Pastor Williams. She graduated from Northern High School in 1975 and attended Mott Community College, with an interest to be a nursing assistant. In 1994 she received her certificate. Patricia loved blues, chilling with family and friends, card playing, being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker. She was a great joy to be around. Mrs. Patricia Louise Walker leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Terry T. Walker of Flint; daughter, Demonica Jackson; 3 sons, Isaac “Rock” Pearson, Larry “Lee” Pearson, all of Flint and Izell “Tutt” (Michelle) Pearson of Jackson, MI; 3 step-children, Tania Clayboune Timothy McDonald and Terrance Tyrone Burks all of Flint; grandchildren, Michketus and Deivyion Pearson Ogburn, Dasontae Pearson, Dakaleb Jackson, Isaac Jr., Alexis, Kanisha, T.T. Pearson, Tamia Bryant, Aniya, Shyann, Kieonna, Harmony Pearson, Ashley and Aiesha Pearson and Arrianna all of Flint; Shaquese and Amarionna Pearson, both of Jackson, MI, Larry Lee Pearson Jr. and Cavasiea of Port Huron, MI; mother, Albert Phifer; 2 sisters, Annie “Jewel” Phifer Willingham of Flint and Sandra “Ree” Phifer McCloud of Birmingham, AL; 5 brothers, Robert, “T-Bird” Phifer, Hemory Phifer, Glen Edward Phifer and Robert “James” Phifer all of Flint and Willie “Sonny” Phifer of Birmingham, AL; a host of nieces and nephews; aunt, Dessie “Mae” Buckley of Flint; mother and father-in-law, Ruby and Doc Walker; 3 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Walker, Rudy Jean Jackson and Betty Jean Jones all of Memphis, TN; 4 brothers-in-law, Doc Walker of Memphis, TN, Rickie Walker, Andre Walker and Jimmy Walker of Chicago; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Deborah Pruitt, Mrs. Barbara and special grandson, Deivyion Pearson Ogburn. Mrs. Patricia Louise Walker was preceded in death by father, Willie “June” Phifer; 2 grandsons; sister, Cheryl Roman and Isaac Pearson Sr. The family would like to express special thanks to Linda Walker and the Hurley 9 E staff and Rachel Perez for having moms back while she was in the hospital.
