Mrs. Patricia Ann Reese

REESE, Mrs. Patricia Ann - Age 56, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at McLaren - Flint. Memorial Service 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. Pastor Jessie Tucker, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Mrs. Reese now lies in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing. Ms. Patricia Ann Reese was born September 7, 1959 in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Lee and Gladys Mae Morgan. She attended Lockport Township High School in Lockport, IL. Patricia made the choice to move her family to Flint, Michigan in the winter of 1995. She didn’t have a church home in Flint but however, she was raised knowing and loving God. Patricia was employed at Flint Truck and Bus, a division of General Motors for 1 year and with Vlasic Foods, Inc. for 6 years. She was a wonderful home decorator and had a unique gift for growing and bringing back to life plants and flowers. Patricia a.k.a. “Lois” may have grown up with 2 different names but she always had 1 personality. If you were family she loved you hard and with pure love. She laughed with you and she cried with you whenever and wherever you needed her too. If you needed ANYTHING and it was with her power she would do it for you. Patricia always had a smile on her face and tried to put one on everyone that she came in touch with. Her love and laughter will truly be missed. Ms. Patricia Ann Reese leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Tonya Brown; son, Benjamin Brown; 4 step-children, Andre McElrath, all of Flint, Kevin Price, Lamont Price and Vernon Howard, all of Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Maliyah, Joianna, Benjamin Jr., Laetia, Trinty, Alayzhia Brown and Renaldo Presswood, Jr.; mother, Gladys Mae Morgan; 4 sisters, Willie Mae (Dan) Burks of Raleigh, MS, Linda Stewart of Flint, Yolanda McLemore of Romeoville, IL and Karen Morgan of Flint; 3 brothers, Robert Lee Morgan, Jr. and Ronald Lee (Patricia) Morgan, all of Joliet, IL; 10 nieces; 14 nephews; 5 aunts; 5 uncles; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friend, Ronnie Presswood. Ms. Reese was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Morgan; grandparents, Noah and Willie Mae Morgan, Willie Johnson and Jessie Mae Wilson; brother, Calvin Morgan; niece, Lisa Burks; nephew, Edward Bey.
