Mrs. Patricia Doris Deshazor

DESHAZOR, Mrs. Patricia - Age 66, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at her residence in Kissimmee, FL. Family Hour 10:00 AM Friday, May 18, 2018 at New Creation Church of God, 3472 Lennon Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Herbert Banks, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Friday. Mrs. Deshazor will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday. Patricia Pearson-Deshazor was born August 4, 1951. She was the first and only daughter of Maxine Bancroft-Lucas and Walter Lucas II. Patricia was raised in Flint, MI and attended Walker Elementary, Sacred Heart and finished her High School career attending St. Matthews Catholic School. Pat went on to work at General Motors Truck and Bus until she retired on June 1, 2000. While working at General Motors Truck and Bus, she met the love of her life, Willard “Gator” Deshazor. She and Gator were married in 1993 and continued their friendship and love until her last breath. Pat was an avid bowler, loved to decorate and spray paint any DIY project she could find. She loved to cook, play cards and have a good time with family and friends. Pat loved her family and those closest to her. She was extremely overwhelmed and excited to become a grandmother. Her grandchildren were her sounding board, her peace, her joy and her world. Her love for them was indescribable. Pat was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Her presence will be truly missed. Pat leaves to cherish her memory: loving husband of 25 years Gator Deshazor; children, Gary (Stacey) Pearson, Dr. Pamela Pearson and step-son, Amari Burke; grandchildren, Aasiyah and Is’Haaq Meeks, Hannah and Mariah Pearson; great-granddaughter, Aanirah Meeks. Brothers, George Bancroft and Dr. Walter Lucas III; nephews, Walter Lucas IV and William Lucas; a host of cousins, friends including special friends, Helen Holland and Lettie Baker. Pat is proceeded in death by her mother and father; brothers, Lewis, Alex, Martin and Gary; and god-mother, Mary J. White.
