KAHEE, Ms. Pamela Ann - Age 51, with a firm conviction, she made her transition from her earthly home to her eternal rest, Monday, October 10, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at New Heaven Missionary Baptist Church, G-3184 Pierson Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Rev. Bobby L. Banks, Jr., officiating, Dr. Fred S. White, Host Pastor. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 a.m. Monday. Ms. Kahee will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, with family present from 3-6 p.m. Ms. Pamela Ann Kahee “Ann”, was born December 5, 1959 in Flint, Michigan. The daughter of Eackle and Ola (Snowden) Kahee. Ann received Christ at an early age and became a member of Gospel Temple Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member of Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. She received her education from Flint Community Schools. Upon graduation, she attended and graduated with a degree in Business from Detroit College of Business. Prior to her illness, she was employed by Richert Manor as an Intake Coordinator. She was also employed with Mar-du as a Floral Assistant until the time of her passing. The dedication and commitment that she consistently bestowed upon her family could not be measured. It is without a doubt that this responsibility was the center of her zest and zeal. In spite of her illness, she offered assistance to an array of family and friends. “Ann” was truly a driving force when it came to those that she considered “FAMILY.” In addition to her family and friends, reading and enjoying a Saturday morning Blues session brought about sheer delight. She was indeed an exceptional Woman, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Family Member and Friend. “Ann” leaves a vast amount of precious memories, unique perspectives and ideologies. To continue her legacy, she leaves: two sisters, Marva Dukes and Thelma Lewis; godson, Tyrell Richardson; aunts, Nettie King of St. Louis, MO and Bobby (Perry) Gullie of Prescott, AR, Edna Kahee of Flint; uncles, Clifford Kahee of Staten Island, NY and Edward Kahee of Flint; nieces, Latoya Lewis, Bionca Lewis, Crystal Cockrane, Cierra Greer and Nicole Hubbard; nephews, Alvin (Katrina) Hare, Quintin Kahee, Micheal Hubbard, Asleigh Tillman and Jeffrey Williams; special great nieces and nephews, Ja’Kavien Lewis, Semaj Jenkins and Amishi Shields, Katysha Palmore, Janero Hare, Jamel Hare, Jalen Hare and Teril Cooper; a host of other relatives and friends in the Kahee, Snowden, Gullie, King, Brown, Lock, Hollins and McClinton families survive; special friends, Donna Collins and Marion Halloway. Ann was preceded in death by her father, Eackle Kahee; mother, Ola Mae Kahee; brothers, Anthony and Willie Kahee; brother-in-law, Rev. Willie L. Dukes; former brother-in-law, Harry Lewis; both her maternal and paternal grandparents; along with many aunts; uncles; cousins and special friends. The family would like to express special thanks to Ann’s excellent caregivers, (primarily-Thelma Lewis/Sister), The Flint Fire Department, Hurley Medical Center, Holy Trinity Baptist Church, New Heaven Missionary Baptist Church, Valley Area on Aging, Dr. Mousa Mohammed, Stat Ambulance Service, Sheldon Medical Supply and Genesys Homecare.
