JOHNSON, Baby Girl Onesty Lashay - 2 months, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Interment Sunset Hills Association, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m Friday. Baby Girl Johnson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed during the family hour only. Baby Girl Onesty Lashay Johnson, “Onnie” as we so lovingly call her. She was a precious gift from God. “Onnie” was gifted to us to show us how to be strong. How to be determined and fight for what we want. As she did from the very first day until the very last day. For 2 months she fought to be here with her mommy and daddy, brother and sister. She fought to be in our hearts and lives. “Onnie” wanted us to have faith and trust in God. Mom and dad talk about missing her tiny little cries. Wanting them to put her binky back after she spit it out. The way her big brother just called her “baby”. No we don’t understand why God needed her back so soon, but we will eventually be content knowing she is in Gods arms. We know that we won’t get to sing to her, but she gets to hear the songs of the heavenly angels. We will miss her beautiful big eyes watching us, but now she gets to gaze into the eyes of the Lord. We want to thank you Jess for watching over our precious little princess until we meet her again. Baby Girl Onesty Lashay Johnson leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Shalena Harris; father, D’Anthony Johnson, Sr.; sister, Sa’maya Johnson; brother, D’Anthony Johnson, Jr.; grandparents, Lashanda Harris, Robert (Verna) Crawford, Darryl Johnson; great-grandparents, Marion Harris and Earl Ivey; 4 aunts, Tishalea Harris, Racquel Cardwell, Deshawndra Johnson and Kanalya Johnson; 8 uncles, Ronald Cardwell, Jr., Nahsier, Kayheem, Jayshawn and James Williams, special uncles, Darrontae Johnson, Timothy Coleman and Daqurius Coleman. Baby Girl Johnson was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Branch; great-great-grandmother, Verna Morgan. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center Trauma staff, Detroit Children’s Hospital, Dr. Masih Kadar and Dr. Chang Rayonad, Nurse Maureen and N.I.C.U.
