Mrs. Olliesteen Hall

HALL, Mrs. Olliesteen - Age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her residence. Family hour 11:30am Friday, February 21, 2014 at Macedonia Missonary Baptist Church, G-5443 N. Saginaw St., with funeral at 12noon. Bishop Neal Roberson officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11:30am Friday. Mrs. Hall will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12noon-8pm Thursday. She was born October 21, 1937, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Lawrence and LaVator Wells. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Flint, graduating from Flint Northern High School, class of 1955, two years later she married Odie Hall and to that union three sons were born; Kevin, Eric, and Kerry E. Hall, Sr. Mrs. Hall retired from Hurley Medical Center and Citizens Bank. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, for over 20 years, serving on the Usher Board II. Mrs. Hall was one of the original founder volunteers of the Motherly Intercession, a non profit organization. Mrs. Hall leaves to cherish her memory; Sons, Mr. Eric (Florenda) Hall and Mr. Kerry (Tyania) Hall, Sr.; Grandchildren, LaKisah, Damien (Wyntis), Kevin (Georgina) Hall, Shatarian (Isaiah) Oliver; Erica, Bridget, Ashley and Kerry E. Hall, Jr.; Great grandchildren, CharBrielle Jackson, Ramya Hall Johnson, Kourtez, Jordan, Damya and Deonna Hall as well as Zaiah and Carrington Oliver; Step grandchild, Idris Lee; Step Great grandchildren, Rianni and Davon Lee all of Flint, MI, a host of other relatives and friends, including dear cousins Rebecca Willingham and family and special friends Barbara Moten, Shirley Cochran, and Francis Cross. She was preceded in death by her Son, Kevin Hall; mother and father, Lawrence and LaVator Wells; grandmother, Arvenia Harris; grandfather, Clayborne Harris; brother, Lawrence Wells, Jr.; Sisters Gail Wells and Esther Jones. The family would like to express the special thanks to the Macedonia Baptist Church Family and all our special friends and love ones.
