WESLEY, Mrs. Olia Mae – Age 67, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, June 21, 2008 at United Missionary Baptist Church, 6440 Clio Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:30AM, Pastor Willie Towner officiating. Intement Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Saturday. Mrs. Wesley will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mrs. Olia Mae Wesley was born August 20, 1940 in Newton, MS, the daughter of Cleo and Flora Evans. Mrs. Wesley was a member of United Missionary Baptist Church. She liked playing cars, going to the Casino and fishing. Mrs. Wesley truly loved her grandchildren, children, sisters, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Olia Mae Wesley leaves to cherish her memory, Joe Wesley, Jr., David (Robbie) Wesley, Kimberly Wesley, Marvin, Ester, Flora (Jonathan) Hodges, Glenda McMillian, Fred Brown and Libby Clements; god-children, Austin and Tyler Phantom; grandchildren, Jason and Quinzel Hall, Dasha Wesley of Kansas City, MO, Corvette Wesley of Atlanta, GA, David Wesley, Jr., Jonathan Hodges, Jr., Khadijah Clements, Denisha Hodges, Breyanna Hodges and Chelisha Anderson of Flint; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Annie Mae Wesley and Patricia Ann Coleman; nieces and nephews, William Skinner, Jessie Fay (Henry) Jones, Gwendolyn (David) Williams; Ernestine (Micheal) Starling, George (Saundra) Wesley, Katherleen (Kevin) Wesley, Yolanda Wesley, Micheal Coleman, Tommy Coleman, Mary (Kevin) Jones, Robert Coleman, Paula Coleman, Bobby Coleman and David Coleman; aunt, Sally McKenzie; sister-in-law, Lovie Evans; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, the Boone Family, The Kelly Family, The Coleman Family and Lynn & Naney Martin. Mrs. Olia Mae Wesley was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Flora Evans; uncles, Wesley “Cat” and Alonzo Evans; aunts, Lula Mae Smith; Maude Evans; brothers-in-law, George Wesley, Jr., James Wesley; nephews, Thomas Evans and Daniel Duffie; niece, Denise Evans; and in-laws, Wesley and Georgianna Hodges.
