CLARK, Mr. Odell Anthony - Age 66, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Rev. Eugene Harris Jr., officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home 10:00 AM. Mr. Clark will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00PM with family present to receive friends from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM on Thursday December 28, 2023. Mr. Odell Anthony Clark was born June 29, 1957 in Dermott, Arkansas, the son of Odell Sr. and Florence Clark. Odell was a resident of Flint, Michigan and moved here in 1969. He was a graduate of Flint Northern High School, “Class of 1975.” Odell accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed at General Motors Corporation for a little while. After that he just did handywork to stay employed. Daddy had a rough path half of his life, but when he got himself together, he came back stronger than ever. Just when we thought we had more time with you, God had other plans. We will cherish your memories Daddy. Odell was a loving father, son and brother. He would do anything to help his family and friends especially at the cookouts at the Bump Shop. One thing about Daddy was he never met a stranger. He would make conversation with anyone to put a smile on their face especially the ladies (LOL). Odell enjoyed watching the game, cleaning, seeing his grandchildren, good food and chilling out with Granddaddy. Daddy we love you and thank God for allowing us to see the side of you we needed. Mr. Odell Anthony Clark leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Tammika (Darryl) Guster and Jaquetta Clark, all of Flint; son, Adream McDonald of Memphis, TN; 9 grandchildren, David and Dewan Guster, TaJane Townsend, Nyasia Chew, all of Flint Aquante Evans of Indianapolis, IN and Amere McDonald of Flint, Aveg’An, Alanis and Jemerion McDonald, all of Memphis, TN; great-granddaughter, Naomi McCraw; father, Odell Clark; sister, Leslie Clark of Kansas City, MO; brother, Dexter Clark; sister-in-law, Shirlene Clark, both of Flint; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Clark; daughter, Jaquline Clark; mother, Florence Clark; grandmother, Mariah Paige; brother, Kenneth Ray Clark; and aunt, Althalene Clark.
