HODO, Ms. NaTasha - Age 44, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at her residence. Family hour 12Noon Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Joy Missionary Baptist Church, 670 E. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 1PM. Pastor James E. Searcy officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 12Noon Wednesday. Ms. Hodo will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Tuesday. Ms. Natasha Hodo was born April 7, 1963 in Flint, Michigan to the parents of Willie Lee Hodo and Ola Mae (Wills) Hodo. Natasha accepted Christ at an early age at Foss Avenue Baptist Church and recently rededicated her life to Christ with Rev. James E. Searcy, Pastor of Joy Missionary Baptist Church. Natasha was a graduate of Northwestern High School. She was a resident of Rocky River, Ohio for the past seven years and was employed at Oatey in Rocky River, OH. Natasha had a passion for life. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandsons, family and friends. Ms. Natasha Hodo leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Shimonda (Lavaughn Williams) Hodo; two grandsons, Janarvis and Jacobi Roberts, all of Flint; four sisters, Etta Sue Hamilton of Rison, AR, Stephanie Causey and Monica Hodo, both of Flint and Jacquetta McCarthy of Oakland, CA; uncle, Henry Hodo; aunts, Zora Clarke, Ophia (Joe) McClure, Lizzie Hodo, Dorothy (John) Allen, all of Flint and Ruth McLeod of O'Fallon, MO; four nieces; 4 great-nieces; three nephews; 3 great-nephews ; a host of cousins including special cousins, Judy Moore and Toyia Wills-Collins; other relatives and friends including special friends, Mr. Tracy Sargent, Lady J., YoYo, Stephanie, Sameria May, Martha Malone and play mom, Carol. Ms. Hodo was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lee and Ola Mae Hodo; grandparents, three aunts and five uncles. The family would like to express special thanks to Cleveland Clinic, Hurley Medical Center 9E Nursing Staff, Genesys Hospice, Dr. L. Fleetwood, Pastor James E. Searcy and the Joy Missionary Baptist Church family and Metropolitan Baptist Tabernacle family.
