Mr. Myron Lynn Roman

ROMAN, Mr. Myron Lynn - age 51, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church, 8095 W. Frances Rd., Flushing, MI. with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Leonard C. Palmer, Sr. officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, 5175 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Thursday. Mr. Roman will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Myron Lynn Roman was born March 8, 1963 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Romalic and Ida Mae Roman. He was a graduate of Flint Community Schools and was also retired. Myron loved watching TV, looking at sports, football, riding in his car, visiting his children and grandchildren. He also loved playing is X-box games, washing his car, exercising, sitting outside on the porch, being around his family and sitting in his car listening to music. No matter how bad he felt when you came around him he always had a smile for you. Mr. Myron Lynn Roman leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Tymakia Roman; son, Myron Lynn Roman, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Ketoryana Upchurch and Myron Lynn Roman III; mother, Ida Mae Roman; sister, Rhonda McFarland; 3 brothers, Timothy Roman, Sr., all of Flint, Craig Roman of Texas and Alton Roman of Flint; 2 nieces, Pleshette and Prisciua Roman of Texas; 3 nephews, Timothy Roman, Jr., Dimetris Cook and Tremayne McFarland; 3 aunts, Ernestine Campbell, Maybelle Roman, both of Flint and Helen Newson of New Britain, CT; 3 uncles, Charlie F. Roman, James Campbell, both of Flint and Longene Roman of LaGrange, GA; 4 cousins, Calvin Roman, Rita Roman, Patricia Roman and Alicia Roman of Southfield, MI; 2 sisters-in-law, Ola Roman of Flint and Liz Roman of Texas; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Brian Miller and D.D., Patricia Wills, Bertha Cook and Sophia Cook. Mr. Roman was preceded in death by his father, Romalic Roman; grandparents, Dora Wallace & Allen McFarland, Beulah Todd Roman & Roman Roman. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center 7th Floor doctors and nurses.
