WILLIAMS, Mr. Myers "Mann" - Age 62, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at his residence. Funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 11 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Myers “Mann” Williams was born June 22 1950 in Muskegon, Michigan, the son of Nathan and Cora Williams. Myers resided in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Muskegon Heights High School. “Mann” accepted the Lord at a very young age. He was raised at Beulah Baptist Church in Muskegon, Michigan. “Mann” was a faithful employee for Buick City for 31 years. He would give the shirt of his back to anyone. “Mann” was always a sharp dresser and an excellent cook. He will be missed dearly. Mr. Myers “Mann” Williams leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Donna Williams of Flint; son, Rodrikus Williams-Russell; 2 stepchildren, LaShonda Brown of Flint and Shontell (Reginald) Lee Sr. of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Teiona Wilson, Kei’la Catlin, both of Flint, Zaniya Brown of Indianapolis, IN, Randall Johnson Jr., TaBari Griffin, both of Flint and Reginald Lee Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; great-grandson, Brandis Brown Jr. of Flint; 5 sisters, Shirley (Eugene) Thomas, Valarie Jane Williams, Brenda Ray Anderson, all of Grand Rapids, MI, Gwen Williams and LindaKa Blackman, both of Muskegon, MI; 2 brothers, Joe Willy (Elmer) Cancer, MI and Ricardo Williams, both of Grand Rapids, MI; special uncle, Ruben Pertilla; mother and father-in-law, Milton and Dorothy McGee Sr. of Flint; brother-in-law, Milton (Sericka) McGee Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Frank Williams. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Zeddie Holmes; 3 brothers, Jerome Pertilla, Nathan Williams Jr. and Andrew Lee Williams.
