EDMOND, Ms. Frankye "Neciy" - Age 44, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 11 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 3020 Dupont St., with funeral service commencing at 11:30 a.m. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11 a.m. Thursday. Ms. Edmond will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8 p.m. Wednesday. Ms. Frankye D. “Neciy” Edmond was born March 6, 1967 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of David and Juanita Edmond. “Neciy” was a child of God who accepted Christ at a young age at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. She attended both Flint and Ann Arbor Public Schools. “Neciy” was very loving, caring, and giving. She was a twin, daughter, mother, grandmother, and auntie. She was a family person and enjoyed family gatherings. “Neciy” always greeted others with a hug and would say I love you whenever she left or ended a phone call. She loved her daughter, Dominique and grandson, Andre dearly. Her appearance was very important to her. She loved to wear bright colors and was always color coordinated. Neciy often wore large earrings and bangle bracelets. She enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephews and they loved their “Auntie Neciy”. She loved playing cards whether it was spades or 5000 and she would always make the macaroni and cheese for family gatherings. Ms. Frankye D. Edmond leaves to cherish her memory: parents, David Edmond and Juanita (Smith) Edmond; daughter, Dominique Wagner; grandson, Andre Browning, Jr.; twin sister, Debra Gandy; sisters, Virdean (Larry) Moore, Shannon Edmond and Kenyatta “Mi-Mi” Edmond-Bleckley; brothers, Ray (Claribel) Edmond, Derrick (Grace) Edmond and Darwin “Andre” Edmond; sister-in-law, Perrean Dexter; nieces and nephews, Denyatta “Buddie” (Herbert) Henry, George Russell III, Simone (Fletcher) Springfield, Qiana Perrean Smith, Toni Smith, Rashawn Smith, LaTia Thomas, Porshia Mills, Ray “RJ” Edmond Jr., Angelina Edmond, Angelica Edmond, Shamar Jones, Derrick “DJ” Edmond Jr., Ashley Edmond, Erin Edmond, Benjamin Bleckley IV, and Joel Gandy; great nephews and nieces, Britani Henry, Herbert Henry II, Alexis Henry, Kennedi Henry, Fletcher Springfield Jr., Hailee Clack, Princeton Clack, Grace Lynn Jones and Blaine Eminger.
