Mr. Mose Tucker, Jr.

TUCKER, Mr. Mose Jr. - Age 57, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his residence. Family hour 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1083 E. Stewart Ave., with funeral service commencing at 12:00 p.m. Rev.Dr. Lewis Randolph Pastor, Rev. Michael Gibson officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Association, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Tucker will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday. Mr. Mose Tucker, Jr. was born April 27, 1958 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. & Mrs. Mose and Mary Tucker. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior being baptized at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor L. W. Pryor. Mose was a loving person. He was always trying to spend time with his family and friends, trying his best to make them laugh. Mose enjoyed cracking jokes, barbequing, fishing and shopping for clothes and cars. Mr. Mose Tucker, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters, Jada Green and Tina Burton both of Louisville, KY; 2 sons, Deonte Malone of Louisville, KY and Jamie Tucker of Flint; grandchildren, Devonte, Briana, and Andrea Brown, Carliale and Carlajah Pollard, Aniyah Burton, JaQuez, Jamir, and Michelle Tucker, Isiah, James and Taylor Brown; great-grandchild, Harmony Brown; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Mose and Mary Tucker; 2 sisters, Mary (Willie) Brown of Flint and Lillian (Thurman) Ward of Starkville, MS; 2 brothers, Larry Tucker of Swartz Creek, MI, Keith (Toni) Tucker of Flushing, MI; 3 nieces, Karisa Anderson and Kyra Brown both of Flint, and Sheka (David) Hill of Arizona; 5 nephews, Lamonte Tucker of Starkville, MS, Demonde (Amber) Harris of Davison, MI, Montez Neely, Aries Tucker, Keith Tucker Jr, all of Houston, TX; 2 aunts, Annie (Frank) Scott of Atlanta, GA and Barbara Jean Brooks of Flint; 4 uncles, J.B. Odneal, Sam Lyde both of Flint, N.F. (Harriett) Odneal of St. Louis, MO and Willie (Helen) Odneal of Columbus, MS; special cousin, Anna (Otha) Dulaney; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends Mattie “Bump” Lewis, L. Purdes White, Dre and the Kings Lane family, Swartz Creek ambulance, his good friend David and his fishing buddy, Willie Lee Hairston. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his daughter, Jaquice “Monique” Adams; son, Antwane Brown; sister, Sharon Tucker; grandparents, Russ (Josephine) Tucker, J.B. (Bessie Will) Odneal, Sr.; aunts, Bernice Orr, Lizzie Love, Queen Sykes, Geraldine Lyde and Essie Peat; uncles, John Odneal, Ernest Tucker and Willie Tucker.
