ALLEN, Mr. Montrelle D., Sr. - Age 35, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center. Mr. Montrelle Deron Allen Sr. was born March 9, 1986 in Morehead City, North Carolina, the son of Alva R. Allen and Tina A. Wallace. Montrelle, as a son, brother, father and husband, was a truly beloved member of the Flint, Michigan Southside Community. He was affectionately known a “Trelle”, “Pookie” or “Flint” and was addressed by his mother as “Monte”, he could always be seen on his way to or from work. Montrelle was a handyman by nature, he was always mechanically adept and had an innate knack for technology. He was rarely caught without a smile on his face and he loved every single person in his life unconditionally, especially his children. Montrelle loved fishing, blasting his music and bonfires. The patriarchal impact he had on his family and friends could never be duplicated or erased. His honor will live on forever.
