STRAHAM, Mr. Milton - Age 86, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at McLaren - Flint. Milton Straham Sr, gained his wings on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at McLaren Regional Hospital. Milton Straham Sr, was born on December 1, 1933 in Moffett, Oklahoma to Virgil Toles Straham and Ernest Straham Sr. Milton attended Vian High School where he rode on the school bus with his grandfather the bus driver, Mr. Haley Straham Sr. In 1952 Milton relocated to Flint, Michigan with his aunt and uncle Johnny and Lennie B. Straham. Milton was employed at General Motors Chevrolet Plant, UAW Local 659 a.k.a “The Whole” where he worked in the sanitation dept. for more than 44 years before retiring in 1997. Milton joined New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church in 1975 under the late Bishop Otis A. Floyd where he served on the Usher Board #1 and Security Detail for over 40 years. Milton enjoyed working on small engine repairs, manicuring his lawn and taking computer classes at the Hasselbring Community Center in which he took pride in. He later met his wife Nisha Straham in 1979 and would later marry sharing over 41 years together. Milton leaves in God’s care his devoted and beloved wife Nisha A. Straham, 5 Children; Anthanette Taylor of Flint MI, Milton (Maija) Straham Jr of Grand Rapids MI, Marc (Cassie) Doss Sr of Roseville MI, Tonja (Zacharia) Rumph of Canton MI and Nakeysha (Shannon) Walker of Flint MI; 17 Grandchildren; Kyle, Milton III, Christina, Michael Jr, Mason, Marquise(Nicole), Marc Jr, Martez, Mya, Shannon Jr, Brandon, Tyler, Jaylon, Antionette, Anthony, Takeena and Kevoni. 14 Great Grandchildren; Brother; Sherman (Quincy) Straham of Flint MI, Sisters; Freddie Mae Strims of Tulsa Oklahoma, Bobbie (Amir) Houshiar of Saginaw MI, Sister-n-laws; Lenora Straham, Bessie Straham, and Mamie Straham all of Flint MI. Special Aunt; Lennie B. Straham and Special Friend Robert Morris and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Milton was proceeded in death by his parents Ernest Straham Sr., Virgil Toles Straham, Son; Anthony Fails Sr., and Siblings; Mary Ann Washington, Ernest Straham Jr., Willie Curtis Straham, Dr. Clarence C. Straham Sr. and Billie J. Straham.
