COMB, Ms. Mildred "Mill" Elaine - Age 56, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 11AM Saturday, July 30, 2005 at House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 1851 W. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 12Noon. Eld. Kenneth L. Stewart officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11AM Saturday. Ms. Comb will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 3-8PM Friday. Ms. Mildred "Mill" Elaine Comb was born on March 8, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Laura Comb, Willie Ray Lenoir/Bryant Willingham. Mildred attended Flint Public Schools. She was a faithful member of House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, where she attended Sunday school, sang in the House of Prayer Women's Choir, was a member of the Progressive Woman and on the Deaconess Board. Mildred was employed at Transition House as a counselor, until she became ill. "Mill's" most enjoyable parts of life were church and family. She loved nothing more than a good gospel song. Ms. Mildred "Mill" Elaine Comb leaves to cherish her memory: 4 sisters, Florence Burton, Rita Folsom, Holly (Mike) Shumpert and Karen (Theodore) Moore, all of Flint; 6 brothers, very devoted brother, T.J. (Delores) Burton, Philip, Leon, Eddie, Freddy, Frank "Sach" Willingham, all of Flint; brother-in-law, James Lenoir; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, including special aunt, Louise Luckett, uncles, cousins, including special cousins, Donna and Tisha Young, other relatives and friends including special friends, Rahsheem, Henry Chetam, Quincy Garland, Joyce Mullins, the staff of Clyde Burtrum Furs, and brother of the heart, Marzzulles Wilson. Ms. Mildred "Mill" Elaine Comb was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Comb; fathers, Willie Ray Lenoir/Bryant Willingham; sister, Willie Mae Lenoir; brother, Edgar Willingham; niece, Christina Comb; nephew, James "Oldman" Lenoir; brother-in-law, Johnnie Folsom; and nephew-in-law, Rev. Charlie Thrower. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Osoma, Dr. Rodeo, Davita Dialysis Center, the nurses of Hurley Medical Center 4th Floor ICU, Pastor Seon Thompson, Eld. Kenneth L. Stewart and the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church family, and Bishop Raymond H. Dunlap and the Eliezer church family.
