TOLES, Mr. Michael LeRoy – Age 64, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI Family hour 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Apostle Clarence Lewis officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Toles will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed for 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday. Mr. Toles services may be viewed on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. by visiting www.lawrenceemoonfuneralhome.com Mr. Michael LeRoy Toles was born October 11, 1948, to the proud parents, Elder Raymond (Mary) Toles of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Where he attended Manual Training High School, in Muskogee, OK; and the family moved to Flint, Michigan, where Mr. Toles, completed his high school years graduating from Flint Northern High School. Mike started out his young years knowing what he wanted in life and that was to be a good provider for his family and becoming his own boss. Which those ambitions instilled in him to start his own company MLT, Michael L. Toles Painting Company was established in 1978, the company mission statement “Go the extra mile to satisfy our customer” which had established a positive reputation in the construction industry by providing reliability, superior quality and outstanding professional customer service. Mr. Toles, has built relationships which provided positive personnel reference from Will H. Hall & Sons Inc., University of Michigan, Flint Campus and Castles Brothers. Longtime working relationships with Sorensen Gross and Bishop Construction. “Let my words speak for me” well, Mr. Toles has done just that, we can continue to see his work for many more years like, the University of Michigan Flint Campus, Bishop International Airport, Flint City Hall, Genesee County Court House, MTA Bus Terminal, Aldo & Talbots Stores in Genesee Valley and many more within Michigan. Mr. Toles was the family comedian, with the ability to make you laugh in any situation. He was able to provide those same special characteristic in his family. He was hardworking and very outspoken but yet, kind and respectful. He will be truly missed but, not forgotten. Mr. Michael LeRoy Toles leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Mrs. Valerie Toles; children, Mrs. Marshon (Kevin) McKenzie, Mr. Michael (Danielle) Toles, Mr. Michael Toles, Mr. Anthony (Gladys) Reaves, and Mr. Eric (Erica) Harding; 10 grandchildren, Mrs. Alycia (Billy) Williams, Keena Moore, Ashlynn Toles, Sydney Toles, Anthony Reaves Jr., Alycia Reaves, Siedah Price, Deedric Reaves, Elise Harding and Elayna Harding; 3 great-grandchildren, Billy Williams Jr., Areyonna Williams, Breyonna Williams, Nickya Price and Zy’airah Price; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary (Elder Roosevelt) Brice and Ms. Debra Toles; 5 brothers, Mr. Anthony Toles, Mr. Lester Toles, Mr. Raymond Toles, Mr. Ronnie Toles and Mr. Johnny (Roxanne) Toles; 2 sisters-in-law, Ms. Wanda Stitt and Ms. Debora Stitt; brother-in-law, Mr. Neil Stitt; many, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including close friends, Mr. Vincent (Diane) Price and Ms. Dimitri Straham that will miss his laughter and smile; as well. Mr. Toles was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Raymond and Mary Toles; sister, Sarah Elaine Toles; and wife, Edith Toles. The family would like to express special thanks to Apostle Clarence L.
