RELERFORD, Mr. Michael - Age 60, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Genesys Health Park - Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Bishop M. L. Albert Host Pastor, Minister Elvin McKinney Officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Association, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Mr. Relerford will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12 noon - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Michael Jerome Relerford was born January, 20, 1955 in Flint, MI. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli and Lauretta Relerford. He was educated in the Flint Public school system and graduated from Northern High school. Upon graduation Michael furthered his education at Mott Community College. Where he received his Certificate as a Medical Assistant. He was a long time resident of Grand Blanc and over the years, Michael kept himself busy with a host of jobs like Proclean, Superior Pontiac, Simms Chevrolet, Bryan House, New Hope, and private duty. Michael was a member of Mt. Sinai Deliverance Church of the Apostolic Faith, where he served as President of the Usher Board, Vice-President of Brotherhood and a Deacon. He took great pride and dedication to the upkeep and beautification of the Sanctuary and premises. Everyone loved to see Michael because he was so full of humor and loved to make people laugh. There was always a prayerful song on his lips and in his heart. He never met a stranger and was genuinely concerned for others. Michael loved his family, taking care of his wife “Torraye’”, manicuring his yard and working on word search puzzles. He leaves to cherish lasting memories with his loving wife, Elizabeth Bell (Torraye’) Relerford; daughters, Donyale Jamerson, Kesha Berger both of Flint, MI, Kieahsha Krause of Kansas, MO; sons, Tierre Berger and Jeff Bell; grandchildren, Quy’Dale and Sh’Ionica Jamerson, Mi’Kilah and Marleyah Julian, Torea Toombs, Jalvin, Tieawna, and MarDrike Williams, CeAsia, Jasmin, and JaPaul Berger, BreAwna and Morriean Bell; great-grandchildren, Makhi Morgan, Kay’Den Bell, Emmanuel Norfleet, Yasmin Johnson, Sharod Johnson, Jr.; sisters, Cynthia (Michael) McCann, Carmen (Anthony) Day; nieces, Tanyelic Relerford, Malinda McCann, Natazja Day; nephews, Richard Relerford, Marcus McCann, Nyjel Day; aunts, Ozell Burns, Shirley Ford, Ella Mae Lewis, Madge Holiday; uncles, Leroy Lewis, Otis (Virginia) Relerford, Jerome (Deborah) Relerford, Scott and Jerry Relerford, Orby Bonner; father; sister-in-laws, Mary (Sherman) Goodwin, Dorothy (Wilson) Clyburn, Maudee (MacArthur) Day, Jackie Kennedy, Amy McKenney, Jeanne (Lonnie) Clark, Cindy (James) Vineson and Birdie (Randy) Ervin; brothers-in-law, John (Clydell), Elvin, and Ricky McKenny; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Jerry (Brenda) Carter, Dr. Michael Young, Doris, Lynn and Betty. Michael is preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli and Lauretta Relerford, and father-in-law, Elder Wilson Albert.
