Mr. Michael Brian Duncan

DUNCAN, Mr. Michael Brian - Age 58, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at his residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, November 26, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with a Memorial Service commencing at 2:00 PM. Friends and family will assemble at the Chapel 1:30 PM Friday, November 2, 2021.Mr. Michael Brian Duncan was born October 21, 1963 in Flint, Michigan. The son of Joan & Roosevelt Duncan. He resided in Flint. Michael gave his life to Christ at an early age. He graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1981. Michael held down several jobs including being a grounds keeper at the Flint Rest Area Stop on Highway I-75. He played the guitar and enjoyed drawing. Michael had a kind heart and didn’t bother anyone. He never married; however, he shared the last 5 years of his life with Lilly Ann Sanders. Michael didn’t have any biological children but loved Chante’ Jackson as his own. Mr. Michael Brian Duncan leaves to cherish his memory: sister, Leah Bell of Houston, TX; 2 brothers, Duane Duncan and Veldez Banks both of Flint, MI; nieces, Bria and Brandy Duncan , LaMyiia Gray, Christy Mayes, all of Flint, MI, Joan, Gabrelle, Londyn Almaraz, and Jurnee Smith all of Mt. Morris, MI, Mychael & Brytanni Duncan both of Houston, TX, Shantoya Owens of Grand Blanc, MI and Leah Renee Miller of Flint; nephews, Brandyn Duncan and Brandyn Duncan II, both of Indianapolis, IN, Mason Miller III and Mazzio Miller, both of Flint, Juan and Kamryn Duncan and Duane Duncan II, all of Flint, MI, Devlyn Duncan of Dallas, TX, Demetrius Duncan of Port Huron, MI ; Aunt, Elaine Minor of Dayton, OH, numerous cousins including, Guy Thomas Billingsley, Dartagnan Johnson, of Kalamazoo, MI and Valerie Pratt; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, “Peanut”. Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by both parents, Joan & Roosevelt Duncan; both grandmothers, Annie B. Jones and Eileen brown; sister, Cynthia Duncan; brother, Juan Duncan, 2 aunts, Rochelle Houston and Betsy Billingsley; 2 uncles, Woodrow Jones and Bucky Green; 2 cousins, Sheresa Pratt and Derrick Conner. The family would like to express special thanks to Lilly Ann Sanders for standing by Michael during his bout with cancer and was there during his most difficult time in life and we are forever grateful.
