BUSH, Mr. Micah - Age 35, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Family Hour 10:00 AM Friday, October 11, 2024, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment, Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home 10:00 AM Friday. Mr. Bush will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Thursday with family present to receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Micah Jamal Bush (Lacy) was born to Nedra Faye Bush and Jimmy Lacy on June 8, 1989 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint Michigan and made his transition to a larger life on Tuesday Oct 1, 2024. Micah was raised in Flint and attended Flint Community Schools. He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Mt Carmel Baptist Church by the late Pastor James Kennedy. Micah has always been fascinated with all types of vehicles, especially motorcycles. Micah aka “Deezy Solo” was an avid and active member of the Sin City Disciples Motorcycle Club of Flint. He loved the freedom of the ride and the familial camaraderie of his biker family. He participated in club events all over the US. He enjoyed working with his hands and power tools. Micah was employed by the Genesee County Land Bank as a crew supervisor. Micah loved his family, especially his children, his fiancée Angelita and his sister Kamisha. He did everything he could to participate in family activities and bring the family together. He was the family handyman, the barbecue pitmaster, the driver for long trips, and the disciplinarian for his nephews. He was always available to do anything his family needed him to do. Micah Jamal Bush leaves to cherish his memory: fiancée, Angelita Harris of Flint; 3 daughters, Tamiah Hall of Jacksonville, Florida, Jazmeer Stewart of Colorado and Neera Reese of Flint; son, Tre’On Cade of Flint; parents, Jimmy (Sedell )Lacy; sister, Kamisha Webster; 3 brothers, Terrence , Jimmy, and Alexander Lacy, all of Michigan; grandmother, Catherine Bush of Hopkins, SC. Also mourning his passing are aunts, Sandra (Robert Sipe) Brandon, Lisa Johnson, Bethena Thomas, all of Flint, Valerie Ewing of Gulfport MS and Eula Davis of Bessemer, AL; uncles, David (Dana) Bush of Flushing MI, and Soloman (Dawna) Lacy of Clio MI. Micah’s village was full of people who loved him including a host of nieces & nephews and cousins including special niece, Keirra Webster-Brandon; special cousins, Darrian and Danae Bush, Deserayah Sanders, Jillian (Chris) Barnett, all of Michigan, Jiobahn Bush, of Texas, Andrea Ewing, Janelle (Miguel) Taylor, all of Denver, Derrick “Tankey” Harris of Hopkins SC. Special friends include, Monte Collins, George Wilkinson II, Antoine Taylor, Theon Broughton, and Christopher Banks. He also leaves many other special friends and family members from across the country especially from Colorado, South Carolina and Alabama. Micah was preceded in death by his daughter, Daloni Jones; mother, Nedra Faye Bush; cousin, Daria Hill; grandparents, John Bush Jr. and Beverly Jean Bush; uncles, John Bush III, Moses Lacy and Freddy Spencer. The Bush & Lacy Family would like to express thanks to The Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 2nd Chance Church, the City of Flint Police Department, the Genesee County Sherriff Dept. and the Sin City Disciples Motorcycle Family for their support during this time.
