PULLIAM-BELL, Mrs. Mattie Lee - Age 69, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, January 8, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Monday. Mrs. Pulliam-Bell will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sunday. Mrs. Mattie Lee Pulliam-Bell was born December 20, 1948 in Earle, AR, the daughter of Artress Pulliam and Robbie McGlowan. She was a resident of Flint for 50 years. Mattie was a loving and caring soul, a friend to everyone she came in contact with. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, sharing recipes with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed making trinkets with and for her great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mattie Pulliam-Bell leaves to cherish her memory: former spouse, Howard L. Bell; daughter, Tinika Bell of Grand Blanc, MI; son, Harold Bell of Burton, MI; grandchildren, Antonio Bell, Rashad Bell Sr., Tanay Bell, Tatiana Riley, Kiara Jordon, Tacoma Bell, Skyler Bell, Dallas Bell and Khaleesi Bell-Catron; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Brooklyn, Camryn, Vita, Alize, La’Neasha, King, Gloria, Jamoul Bell, Rashad Bell Jr, Julius Goforth, Tyrese Jones and T’Leya Louis; a host of nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Hattie Bell of Memphis, TN; sisters-in-law, Vera (Bell) Mitchell and Vivian Bell; brothers-in-law, Samuel Bell Jr., Curtis, Vincent, Keith and Richard Bell; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends: Sharon (Price) Patrick, Darlene (Bell) Brown, Patricia Coffey, Brenda Johnson, Renea Smith, Randal Riley, Lee Freddia Johnson Jr.. Mrs. Mattie Bell was preceded in death by: daughter, Vita Bell-Riley; granddaughter, Porsha Jordan; father Artress Pulliam; mother, Robbie McGlowan Pulliam, father-in-law, Samuel Bell Sr.; brother-in-law, Ewin Bell; sisters, Albert McGlowan, Rose Thomas, Annie Pullium.
