MULL, Mrs. Mary - Age 74, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, October 26, 2007 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Rev. Billy Joe Jenkins ating and Rev J.D. Jenkins officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Friday. Mrs. Mull will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Thursday. Mrs. Mary Susie Mull was born July 22, 1933 in Cleveland, GA, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William and Lessie Jenkins. She attended Clark College where she received a degree in Education, while in college she meet Athard Allen whom she married and bore 5 children and later moved to Michigan. Mary became a stay at home Mom, later in life she married Rev. James R. Mull and received Christ. She enjoyed music, dancing, loved to cook, her favorite T.V. shows were, Walker, Texas Ranger and Law and Order. Mary main interest was her family whom she loved dearly. Mary never meet any stranger, if you need a place to lay your head, she would provide one. She also was a Eastern Star for many years. Mary prayed for everyone and would sing too, her best friend of 30 years was Wilbur Robinson, better known as (Mr. Bill to all.) Mrs. Mary Susie Mull leaves to cherish her memory: friend, Wilbur D. Robinson; son, Melvin (Kim) Allen; daughter, Patricia Allen of Flint; 2 brothers, Rev. J.D. (Hazel) Jenkins and Rev. Billy Joe (Betty) Jenkins; stepmother, Helen Jenkins; aunt, Jessie Mae Cleveland of GA; 2 uncles, R. Lee (Mattie) Mitchner and Adell Mitchner of Flint; grandchildren, Damond, Little Larry, Mookie, Little Mel, Treshemia, Shaquese, Ronald (Jr.), Tunisia, Little Ricky and Sharonda; great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mary Susie Mull was preceded in death by father, William Jenkins; mother, Lessie Jenkins; brother, Alfonzo Jenkins; 2 sons, Joey and Ricky Allen; daughter, Sharon Stradwick; grandson, Ra'mond Spence, Athard Allen and Rev. James R. Mull.
