WYATT, Mr. Marlon Everett - Age 38, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Ascension-Genesys. Family Hour 10:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Saints of God Church, 2200 Forest Hill Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Alfred L. Harris, Host Pastor, Eld. Ples Wyatt, officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Saturday. Mr. Wyatt will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday with the family present to receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Marlon Everett Wyatt was born March 23, 1981 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Doris Wyatt and Louis Woodall. Marlon accepted Christ at a young age and attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church faithfully. He participated in the Youth Choir, Youth Department and Sunday School. Marlon graduated from Flint Northern High School, “Class of 1999.” He had a love for music that began to blossom in the mid 90’s. Marlon completed 5 albums with his last album being, “Weight of the World.” In 2007, Marlon had a beautiful daughter, L’Arelle J. Wilson that he loved and cherished dearly. In 2010, Marlon met the love of his life, Regina, and they married February 22, 2013. He was a hard worker. In 2014, Marlon started working at FWOGC, where he was loved by all his coworkers. He was always smiling. His smile made the world seem brighter, and made us all feel a little better. Marlon loved his family friends, high fashion, vacationing and music. Marlon Everett Wyatt leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Regina Owens-Wyatt of Flint; daughter, L’Arelle J. Wilson of Grand Prairie, TX; mother, Doris Wyatt; grandmother, Ludora Wyatt; 4 nieces, Ta’Riah Jones, Janiah Owens, Svaja and Camri Burns; 2 nephews, Tony Jr. and Connor Owens; a host of aunts including, Myrna E. (Wyatt) Wright; 2 uncles, Elder Ples I. (LaDonna) Wyatt and Gary (Lisa) Wyatt; 18 cousins, Tremaine E. Wyatt, Sharena M. (Christopher) Wilson, Garrisa D.T. Wyatt, Ples I. Wyatt III, Jerrison (Carrisa) Wyatt, Rodney D. Jones II, Dymon N. Jones, Lauren Wyatt, Jimmie L. Wyatt II, Jason Wyatt, Terry, Sylvia, Heather, Vada, Curtis, Sonny, Earl and Prather Newell; father and mother-in-law, Tony L. and Victoria Owens; sister-in-law, Shannon (Cameron) Burns; 2 brothers-in-law, Prentiss Owens and Tony Owens; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Keyon (Agness) Shackleford, Jason Allen, Solonmon Lewis, Steven Swazer, Corey Wilkerson, Clinton Dill and god-son, JaQuayvion Watson. Marlon was preceded in death by his father, Louis Woodall; grandfather, Ples Wyatt Sr.; great-grandmother, Mariam (T.N.) Nelson; sisters, Lanay and Diedra Woodall; and Alford Harris (Blazz).
