MILLER, Mrs. Marion (Bonner) - Age 85, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010. Family hour 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at New St. James C.O.G.I.C., 2229 W. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 12Noon, Eld. Anthony Bonner officiating, Eld. Eddie Parish, Host Pastor. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11 a.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Bonner-Miller will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Monday from 1-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. with family present from 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Marion (Bonner) Miller was born April 24, 1924 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Seab and Ethel (Wright) Bonner. Marion was a resident of Flint, Michigan and a graduate of Flint Northern High School. She was a member of St. James C.O.G.I.C., where she sang in the choir and played the piano. Mrs. Marion (Bonner) Miller leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, May Tanner of East Lansing, MI and Phyllis Miller of Swartz Creek, MI; 5 sons, David (Arnetta) Miller of Baltimore, MD, Lucious (Brenda) Miller, Jerry (Roxanne) Miller, all of Flint, James (Star) Miller of Sacramento, CA and Melvin Bonner of Flint; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; very very devoted brother, Deacon Auborn Bonner; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Bonner and Dr. Rebecca Bonner, all of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including the Wright, Bonners, Lakes and Vaughn families. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her huband, Phillip D. Miller; son, Quentin Miller; parents; 7 brothers; and 1 sister. The family would like to express special thanks to Kith Haven Nursing Home from the basement to the 3rd floor, Genesys Health Park 4 North and 3rd floor ICU, Dr. Larry Braver, Dr. Straff, Dr. Rittenger, Omar “The Man” Khorfan, Pastor Eddie Parish and the St. James C.O.G.I.C. family, Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart and the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church family, Pastor Ryan Mixon and the Everlasting Missionary Baptist Church family, Pastor T.J. Lee and the Mt.
