Mrs. Louise Cash

CASH, Mrs. Louise - age 63, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Church Without Walls, 6202 Dupont St. with funeral service commencing at 1 p.m. Pastor Martez S. Warren, Sr. officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 12:30 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Cash will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Ms. Louise “Weezy” Cash was born October 3, 1950 in Summerville, Tennessee, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt and Ora Woods. Louise became a resident of Flint in 1972 where she served for 20 plus years as a General Assembly Worker at Fisher Body, a division of General Motors and was a member of UAW Local 581. She later devoted several years working as a Sales Associate at Fashion Bug and RPM Auto Sales in Flint. Louise also served many years as a Cook and Manager at “Woods Fish and Bar-b-que restaurant, which was owned by her brother. Ms. Louise was a wonderful woman with a huge heart and a stunning sense of humor. “Weezy” enjoyed laughing, joking, and spending quality time with her daughters, grand-kids, and great grand kids. Louise was never lost of words. Ms. Louise Cash leaves to cherish her memory: 4 daughters, Angela “Sweetney” (Montrel) Woods, Shunta (Anthony) Woods, Cindy (Brodrick) Cash, Latonia (Jimmie) Williams; 10 grandchildren, Deandre Woods, Dequan Woods, DeMarko Woods, Tiffany Cooper, Ke’Shrya Woods, Santinaya Cash, Jimmie Williams, Jr., Javonte Williams, Jaliyah Williams and Mariah James; great-grandchildren, Deandre Jr., Delano, Kimarie, Zsanaih, DeQuan Jr., Zsaiquan, Demarko Jr. and Demorontae Woods; 3 sisters, Flossie Lawrence of Memphis, TN, Rosa Robinson of Flint, Virginia Dotson of Fayette County, TN; brother, Willie “John” (Dorothy) Woods of Flint; sister-in-law, Carolyn Woods; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special lifelong friends, Alice Morton, Debra Cummings, her hair stylist Gloria Williams; god-daughters, Sandra Woods, Janelle Page, Alicia Morton, her caregiver “Sweetney”, and Joyce Guson. Ms. Cash was preceded in death by her 2 grandchildren, Sa’Mya Cash and Ke’shawn Green; great-grandson, DeMarko Woods, Jr.; parents, Roosevelt and Ora Woods; 3 brothers, Roosevelt, Charlie and Eddie Woods; sister, Georgia Woods; 2 nephews, Charlie Woods, Jr., and Marcus Woods.
