Mrs. Louise Branch

BRANCH, Mrs. Louise - Age 92, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her residence. Family Hour 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:30 AM Wednesday. Mrs. Branch will lie in state in the Chapel and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Tuesday, with family present from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM to receive friends. Mrs. Louise Branch was born October 26, 1931 in Meridian, Mississippi, the daughter of Cleave Sr. and Edna (Baskin) Pringle. Louise was a very independent hard worker. She left Mississippi at a very young age to look for work. Louise moved to Chicago, IL where she worked a number of jobs before moving to Flint, Michigan to work and care for her pride and joy, Charles. It was in Flint where she met the love of her life. Louise worked for the Yellow Cab Company as a Dispatcher before landing a life changing position for Dr. Milton (Mariline) Rosenbaum as a Nanny. She joined the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful tithe paying member for years. Mrs. Louise Branch leaves to cherish her memory: 2 sons, Melvin (Marilyn) Branch of St. Louis, MO and Charles (Cherie) Pringle of Spring Hill, TN; 3 granddaughters, Chontea’ (Darren) Hale of St. Louis, MO, Pastor Vanessa Pringle and Carmen Pringle, both of Flint; 5 grandsons, Torrance (Nina) Branch of Atlanta, GA, Terrance (Chris) Branch of Gainesville, GA, Delmaro Strodder of Atlanta, GA, Joseph Henry of Chicago, IL and Kenneth Warren of Spring Hill, TN; 19 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Iris Hare and Fran Smith. Mrs. Branch was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Branch; daughter, Evelyn Grover; parents, Cleave Sr. and Edna Pringle; siblings, Lucille Barfield, Cleave Jr., Alvin, David, Bennie, Charley B. Lawerence, Clarence, Eddie and Charley E. Pringle.
