WILLIAMS, Mr. Louisa - Age 57, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10AM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10AM Tuesday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Monday. Mr. Louisa Williams, Jr. affectionately called “Louis” was born January 25, 1952 in Nitta Yuma, Mississippi, the son of Louis and Ernestine Williams. “Louis” moved to Indianapolis, IN and graduated from Arsenal Techinical School, shortly after high school “Louis” joined the United States Navy where he proudly served his county during the Vietnam War. “Louis” was a joy to his entire family expressing his love through his many kind acts and his cooking. He also enjoyed fishing and was the life of the party at all family events. Though we have many fond memories of “Louis” and can recall many special moments and fun stories, he is best known for his vast knowledge on the English language, even creating his own words (to the delight of his family), one thing is for sure-he will be missed. Mr. Louisa Williams, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: fiance’, Linda Johnson of Flint; 2 daughters, Shrika Burt and Lucinda Williams of Honolulu, HI; 3 sons, Antonie and Brian Chambers both of Indianapolis, IN and Narvell Williams-Love of Detroit, MI; 3 stepsons, Kevin, Keith and Brian Johnson all of Flint; grandchildren, Antwan, Dexter, Chamire and Jayda Burt all of Flint and Narvell Williams-Love, Jr. of Detroit, MI; sisters, Barbara (Gerard) Young, Sherrie (Wesley) Thomas, Vivian (Raymond Jones) Patrick, all of Flint, Laverne (Barry) Williams of Indiana, IN; 4 stepsisters, Diane Moore, Denise McPherson, Carolyn Myles, Willitta Short all of Indianapolis, IN; 2 brothers, Glen (Kathyleen) Williams of Durham, NC and Lavaughn (Shamonda) Williams of Flint; 2 stepbrothers, Fredrick Miles of Indianapolis, IN and Ralph Anderson of Fresno, CA; aunts, Ann (Aaron) Flood and Mazie Williams; brother-in-law, James Patrick of Flint; nieces, Keesha, Makela, Balicia, Teaira, Tuyana, Marchand, Jameca, Jacquandra, Tanisha and Shantae; nephews, James, Jacquevis, Jaquan, Glen, Jacqurie, Montez and Jermaine; a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousin other family and friends including special cousins, Money, Shawn, Terry, Whimpee, Larry and special friend, Sonny. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Lucille and Willie Williams; brothers, Bailey and Charles Williams; aunt, Dorthy Hawkins and grandmother, Molly Gillian.
