Ms. Loretta Jean Price

PRICE, Ms. Loretta Jean - Age 57, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at her residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Monday, April 10, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Monday. Ms. Price will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sunday. Ms. Loretta Jean Price was born January 8, 1960 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Theodore and Rosetta Beene. She graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1978.” Loretta attended House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed at Alternative Services, Inc. where she took care of disabled and mentally ill patients. Loretta’s interest and hobbies were interior decorating, in which she could make a house look and feel like a home. She enjoyed listening to the Blues and loved, loved, loved babies. Loretta will be truly loved and missed, RIH. Ms. Loretta Jean Price leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, ShaShawna K. Clifton of Richardson, TX and Lattice R. Price of Flint; son, Curtis M. Price of Davison, MI; 3 grandchildren, Itika Beene, Sherman F. Clifton, both of Richardson, TX and Kalia R. Price of Flint; 2 great-grandchildren, Melanie L. Beene of Richardson, TX and Karter Price (unborn); 7 sisters, Thelma Price, Rita Smith, Teresa (Jr.) White, Shirley Essett, Patricia Toliver, Jackie and Venetta Beene; 2 brothers, Michael (Andrika) Beene and Allan (Yolanda) Beene; 2 aunts, Dorothy Price of Flint and Priscilla Price; uncle, Joe Price; boyfriend, Mr. Horace Dennison; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Crissy Sims, Eve Cunningham, Brenda Davis and Trenton Fuqua. Ms. Price was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Rosetta Price; grandparents, James and Christine Price; sister, Juanita F. Price; brother, Lawrence Price. The family would like to express special thanks to Pamila Price, Quaniece Davenport and all her friends for being there each and everyday to help our family through this ordeal whether being present or a phone call.
