Lodeener Ware

WARE, Mrs. Lodeener - Age 89, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Grand Blanc Nursing Home. Family hour 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11 a.m. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Ware will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Lodeener (Lee) Ware was born June 22, 1920 in Ludlow, Mississippi, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Ola (Reed) Lee. Mrs. Ware lived in Ludlow and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She worked as a Dietary Cook at a Detroit hospital and also as a Custodian at Forest High School in Forest, Mississippi. Lodeener loved sewing, working in her garden and going fishing. Mrs. Lodeener (Lee) Ware leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, JoAnn (Terence) McDaniel; 3 grandchildren, Martina (Delano) Burton, Gerald (Shanon) Ware, all of Flint, and Danjuma Greer of Meridian, MS; great-grandchildren, Marquice L. Kincaid, Marqueshia and Marquan Simmons, Dwhite Hall, Gerald Malik Ware, Honre’ and Jomarionte Fox-Ware, Gerlon Fox-Ware, all of Flint, Dakinjara, Danjuma Jr., Dai’Cavieon Greer, Angleica Shannon, all of Meridian, MS; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Laniyah Aaliyah-Lei Kincaid and Marquica Lemaleyah Kincaid, both of Flint; sister, Maeonia Johnson of Ludlow, MS; brother, Fulton Lee of Ludlow, MS; 5 nieces, Shirley Jones of Wingate, NC, Linda Johnson of Ludlow, MS, Betty Taylor and Bonnie K. McCall, both of Jackson, MS, Berth-O Woods of Pearl, MS; 4 nephews, Titus Harris of Flint, Cecil Lee of Ludlow, MS, Warren Lee of Jackson, MS and special nephew, Willie Ray of Ludlow, MS; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ola (Reed) Lee; 3 brothers, Fonzie Lee, David Banks and Booker T. Lee; 3 sisters, Mariah Younger, Maggie Shepherd and Olivia Banks; and nephew, Ervin (Houston) Lee, all of Mississippi. The family would like to express special thanks to Mrs. Cora Moore, the staffs of Grand Blanc Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Valley Area Agency on Aging, Genesys Regional Medical Center, Hurley Medical Center and McLaren Regional Medical Center.
