Mrs. Lizzie Mae Prescott

PRESCOTT, Mrs. Lizzie Mae - Age 72, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Ascension Genesys, Grand Blanc. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, April 15, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Flint Memorial Park., G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:00 AM Monday. Mrs. Prescott will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday. Lizzie Mae Prescott was born September 21, 1951 in Louisville, Arkansas the daughter of the late Wilson and Lizzie Mae Avery McCowan. Lizzie graduated from Central High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1960 and also attended College she worked as retail manager for over twenty years. She donated oversees to Saint Jude for children also Lizzie and her big brother Ellis Avery they were mentor’s for schools where they donated school supplies. Aunt Liz had a very big heart helped everybody. She loved all her family and friends and we loved her too. She loved everybody children and also loved shopping and buying everybody gifts for birthdays, wedding and baby gifts for the nieces and nephews. Making baskets for every holidays for children for every holiday. She always had a beautiful smile always giving to keep the family together. Liz had everything she needed never expected anything in return. She had a Beautiful spirit making sure everybody was ok. Loved to go play Bingo with friends. Loved her scratch off and Keno tickets and loved spoiling Serenity and Daivon. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband of over 30 years of marriage and special friend Bernice and William from Saginaw, MI. Things wont be the same without Aunt Liz. We will never forget about her. We have a Angel looking over us. We love you Auntie we will go to the moon just to see you again.
