TERRY, Mrs. Linda - Age 54, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2006 at her residence. Family hour 10AM Saturday, September 9, 2006 at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1035 E. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11AM Saturday. Eld. John Thornton, officiating. Bishop Odis A. Floyd, Pastor. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington Ave, Saginaw, Michigan. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Saturday. Mrs. Terry will lie in state in the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mrs. Linda Diane Terry was born July 13, 1952 in Geneva, Alabama. The daughter of Levi and Carrie Swinton. Linda moved to Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 3, and lived in Saginaw during her young adult life attending Saginaw High School. She moved to Flint, Michigan in 1980.She was employed with R.P.F. Oil as a dedicated manager for 10 years without missing a day. Mrs. Terry was a loving individual with high optimism, who enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing, interior design and praising God. Linda was always caring for her family, helping others and giving positive advice, she also would sponsor families at Christmas. Mrs. Linda D. Terry leaves in Gods Care; 2 daughters, Carrie Dannette Swinton of Saginaw, Michigan, LuTasha Renea Terry of Flint, Michigan; ex-husband Otis Terry of Shreveport, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren, Eric L Hogg Jr., Dominique C. Terry both of Flint, Javonte T. Hogg, Tysheika T. Dixon, LaQuesha M. Dixon, all of Saginaw, Michigan; 1 niece, Eva Terry; 1 nephew, Maurice Terry; 2 aunts, Martha McLemore, Vonnie Swinton; 2 uncles, Sim (Curtisstine) Terry of Saginaw, Michigan, Emmit (Ardella) Vaughner of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; special cousin, Sylvester (Barbara) Swinton; father in-law, Walter Terry Sr.; sister in-laws, Berniece Clark of Grand Rapids, Evelyn Miller, Chrisstine Land, Joyce Terry, Gloriest Terry all of Saginaw; brother in-laws, Walter Terry Jr. of Columbus, OH, Eddie Jean Terry of Westbrook, MS; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Barbara Epps, Curtisstine Terry, and Wilson Cooper; god children, Teresa Swinton, Shonda Simpson, and Belinda Wells. Mrs. Linda D. Terry was preceded in death by her parents Levi and Carrie L. Swinton; mother in-law, Lula Bell Terry and cousins Evelyn and Jerry Swinton.
