HARDMON, Ms. Linda - Age 40, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 12Noon Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1083 E. Stewart Ave., with funeral service commencing at 1PM, Rev. Otha Hill officiating, Rev. Lewis Randolph, Pastor. Family and friends will assemble at the church 12Noon Thursday. Ms. Hardmon will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 1PM-8PM Wednesday. Ms. Linda Hardmon (Savage) was born November 20, 1967 in Grenada, Mississippi, the daughter of Joe and Shirley Teague. Linda attended Grenada High School graduating in 1985. Enjoying caring for people Linda was employed at Resident Advancement Inc., where she was Manager at the Burleigh Home, until she became disabled. Linda accepted the Lord in her life at a very early age. She was baptized at First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Later moving her membership to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she served until the Lord called her home. Linda enjoyed people. All of the young children in the Trumbull area that needed love and a place to live her door was always opened. Linda was very caring and giving. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, traveling, taking pride in her children appearance and spending time with her family. Ms. Linda Hardmon leaves to cherish: daughters, Phine, Shantel and Seaira; son, Keyland; beloved mother, Shirley Taylor; 3 sisters, Christina and Ruby Taylor of Flint, Marsha Evans of Washington, D.C.; brother, Elax (Xavier) Taylor of Flint; godparents, Pastor F.O. and Mrs. Marian Hockenhull, Linda, Ronald and Wanda; mother-in-law, Pearl Savage; aunts, Ruby Chastin of North Carolina, Margaurite Evans of Washington, D.C. and Dorothy Harbin; uncles, Willie and Larry Hardiman, all of Grenada, MS; great aunt, Annie Lee Taylor of Chicago, IL; 3 nieces, Alexis Wilson, Nikibra Jenkins and Raina Taylor; nephews, Travelle and Sinceer Finney; sisters-in-law, Gwen "CoCoa" Steele, Yolanda (Jerome) Barfield, Sharlen (Henry) Davis, Sheila and Sallie Savage, Gayle (Jeff) Wade; brothers-in-law, Marvin, Desmond and Delon Savage, all of Flint; a host of special relatives and special friends including, Rev. Larry Evans, Leciddiner Harbin, Evangelist Charles Taylor, Josephine (Aaron) Rigstey, Johanna Massey, Anthony Wynne and life-long friend, Angela Tornes. Ms. Hardmon was preceded in death by her father Joe Teague; soulmate, Keith Savage; brothers, Christopher and Ronald Taylor; sister, Wanda; grandmothers, apple of her eye, Rosie V. Hardiman-Bryant and Cora Sally; and uncle Frederick Bryant.
