EPPS, Mrs. Lillian Ann (Pharms) - Age 74, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2005 at Brian's House. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, October 15, 2005 at North Central Church of Christ, 2001 N. Saginaw St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Bro. Darron Fantroy, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Saturday. Mrs Epps will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10AM-8PM Friday. Mrs. Lillian Ann (Pharms) Epps was born on November 17, 1931 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of George Ruben and Grace Pauline Pharms, Sr. Mrs. Epps, a life long member of Flint, was a faithful member of North Central Church of Christ. She attended Flint Public Schools and graduated from Central High School "Class of 1951." Mrs. Epps retired from the building maintenance department of Hurley Medical Center, after 29years of service. She was also a member of Local 1603. Mrs. Epps was known for her quiet spirit, and her loving touch to her family, grandchildren, and many others that crossed her path. Mrs. Lillian Ann (Pharms) Epps leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Pauletta Epps; sons, David (Patricia) Epps, Andre and Timothy Epps; father of her children, Curtis W. Epps, Sr., all of Flint; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ruben George Pharms, Jr. of Boston, MA, Murmon Pharms of Flint; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins including special cousins, Snell, Parks, Kendall, all of Flint, Naphier, Woodwards, Williams of Detroit, MI; special friends, Bobbie Collins, Glorian Shivers, Emma Hill, the Epps and Lawler Families, and Mr. Wilson, all of Flint, Marie and Bartow Petty of Saginaw, MI. Mrs. Lillian Ann (Pharms) Epps was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pauline Pharms, Sr.; father and mother-in-law, Rev. William and Mildred Epps; son Curtis Epps, Jr.; 3 brothers, Elmer, Maurice "Doc", Eugene "Cowboy" Pharms; step sister, Stella Bell; step brother, Fred Thompson; 4 sisters-in-law. The family would like to express special thanks to Bro. Darron Fantroy and the North Central Church of Christ family, Pastor Roy I. Greer and the Mt. Olive Baptist Church family.
