BREED, Mrs. Lee Ester - Age 80, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, January 30, 2026, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00PM. Pastor Alphonzo Brown, Officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, 4413 Flushing Rd, Flint, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Friday. Mrs. Breed will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday. Mrs. Lee Ester Breed was born July 28, 1945, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of Arthur Rodgers I and Dorothy Rodgers. Lee was a resident of Flint, Michigan. She attended and served on the Usher Board at Five Fold Ministries. Lee was employed at General Motors Corporation for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shopping. Lee also loved her family, church and helping others very much. She was a hard worker all her life. Mrs. Lee Ester Breed leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Roy Breed of Flint; 2 sons, Cedric Bridges and Brandon Sanders; 6 grandchildren, Cedric Watson, Tiara Childress, Cedvente Bridges, Arthur Bridges, Reginald Bridges Jr. and Brandy Sanders; 11 great-grandchildren; niece, Diana Hatfield; 2 nephews, Demetrius Williams of Flint and Corey Dudley; 3 brothers-in-law, Albert Breed, Arthur (Bettie) Breed and Stafford (Debbie) Breed; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Loretta (Tiny) Goines, Rosemary Thomas-Cheatham, Pastor Juanita Crump and Five Fold Ministries. Mrs. Breed was preceded in death by her sons, Reginald Bridges, Roy Breed Jr., Eric Breed and Kevin Breed; daughter, Bridget Sanders; parents, Arthur Rodgers I and Dorothy Rodgers; sister, Nancy Dudley; and brother, Arthur Rodgers II. The family would like to express special thanks to McLaren Hospice, all caregivers, Angie Chew, Rhonda and others.
