GUISE, Ms. LaVitta Love - Age 36, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30AM Tuesday, November 29, 2005 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with service commencing immediately at 11AM. Pastor Kenenth L. Stewart officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Tuesday. Ms. Guise will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Monday. LaVitta Love Guise was born September 20, 1969 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of George and Carolyn Guise. LaVitta attended Flint Public Schools. She was a beautiful daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She loved to laughing, having fun with her family, and working with her special needs children at The Raymond Skinner Center in Memphis, TN. Ms. LaVitta Love Guise leaves to cherish her memory: son, JaMarcus Omar Guise; mother, Carolyn (Sylvester) Guise-Pollard; father, George Guise and special friend Myrtis Conner; grandmother, Rosie B. Rutherford; loving sister, Jamilah Guise; niece, Samilah Love Guise; nephew, DaMarcus Guise; aunts, Shirley Wilson, Barbara Sims, Patricia Thompson, Stella Rutherford, Kathy Harrison, Eunice Thompson and Geraldine Smith, all of Flint; uncles, Steven and Bobbie Rutherford and Gregory Thompson all of Flint; sons father, Michael Aaron Jackson; godchildren, Tiffany James, JaQuese Braswell, Jalen Williams, ShaVitta Williams, ShaQuaya Ivy, all of Flint ,and Monterrio Conway of Memphis, TN; godparents, Clarence and Shirley Martin both of Flint; many other loving family members and friends including best friends, Christine "Niecy" Williams, and Veronica "Tweetie" Greene, Dianne Malone of Memphis, TN; special friends, Phyllis Golden, James and Jackie Thompson, Calvin Whiteside and Montoya Conway. Ms. LaVitta Love Guise was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Bessie Guise, Lee Ader (Big Mama) Harris; uncle, James Wilson; 2 great uncles; 3 great aunts.
