Mr. LaBryant Donyell Dupree Sr.

DUPREE, Mr. LaBryant D., Sr. - Age 51, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 AM Monday, October 24, 2022, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 AM Monday. Mr. Dupree will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM Sunday. Mr. LaBryant Donyell Dupree was born September 28, 1971, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Gloria Dean Dupree and James Daron LeFlore. LaBryant was a resident of Flint and a member of Vernon Chapel A.M.E. Church. He attended Flint Community Schools. LaBryant was employed at Sim’s Grocery Store. He loved playing cards, pool, Dominos, music and being around his family and friends. LaBryant also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandkids. He would help everybody and loved everyone. LaBryant was a wonderful person to everyone he met. Mr. LaBryant Donyell Dupree leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, LaQuisha Saquayla Marie Dupree; son, LaBryant Donyell Dupree Jr., both of Ypsilanti, MI; grandchildren, LaRiya Lowe, Xavier Dupree, Laderius Lowe, Carson, Ivy, Noah and London, all of Ypsilanti, MI; 3 sisters, Theresa (Marvin) Scrivner, Lisa (Kevin) Turner of Florida and Andrea Elliott; 2 brothers, Kevin (Doneatha) Dupree and Tozau Bridges, all of Flint; god-sister, Francetta Arnold; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; aunts, Shirley Clady, Rosemary Dupree, Billie Dupree, Charlotte Dupree and Elenora LeFlore; uncles, Bobby LeFlore, Archie LeFlore, all of Flint, Tony Dupree of Rockford, IL, Fred Dupree, Kenneth Dupree, both of Flint and Alvin James Sanders of Rockford, IL; brother-in-law, Darrell Jenkins; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Terrance Thompson, Earl Hodo, Doris Lloyd, Archie McClellin, Richard Henderson and Belinda Allen. Mr. Dupree was preceded in death by his grandson, Paris Dupree; parents, Gloria Dean Dupree and James Daron LeFlore; grandparents, Ozell and Freeman Dupree, Evie and William LeFlore; sister, Natausha Jenkins; uncle, Troy Dupree, cousins, Demario Dupree and LaQuanda Lavender.
