DABNEY, Mr. Krushee' Lee - Age 45, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2005 in Dallas, TX. Family hour 10:30AM Monday, May 9, 2005 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commecing immediately at 11AM. Dr. W.G. Terry officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Monday. Mr. Dabney will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10AM-8PM Sunday. Mr. Krushee' Lee Dabney was born April 7, 1960 in Flint, MI. Krushee' resided in Cedar Hill, Texas. He was a member of the Potter House in Dallas, TX, Pastor Bishop T.D. Jakes. Krushee' was employed as the director of the mental health recovery program at the VA Hospital in Dallas, TX. He was an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Army. Krushee' graduated from Northwestern High School, "Class of 1978. He went on to receive an Associates degree from Jordan College in 1981, Bachelors degree from Oakland University in 1983 and a Masters of Social Work from Western Michigan University in 1986. Krushee' went on to receive numerous honors and awards. Krushee' was loved by many and he loved his family. Mr. Krushee' Lee Dabney leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Ruthie Mae Dabney; 7 sisters, Sylvia M. Nelson, Narcissus (Thuster) Cannon, Loretta Anderson, Bushee Dabney, Wanda (Rev. Michael) Jones, Taraisa (Mike) Vaughn, all of Flint, Hildra Urquehart of Rison, AR; 8 brothers, Frank (Margo) Anderson of Louisville, MS, Ronald, Anthony and Ricky C. Miller, all of Flint, Frank Miller, Jr. of Louisville, MS, Maury (Cheryl) Willis, Dell Wills of New Orleans, LA, and Gregory Wills of Pine Bluff, AR, numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces and nephew, Tamara Anderson, LaShanda Dabney, Nicky Anderson, and Herbert Anderson, all of Flint; 8 aunts, Aldaria Brown, Essie Porter, Eunice Carmouche, Shirley Harice-Bradford, Murry Washington, Lula McCeldon, all of CA, Ophia (Joe) McClure, and Zora Clarke of Flint; 3 uncles, Lugene Harice, Elmore Anderson, Jr., both of CA, Willeec Harice of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous cousins; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Yvonne Benford of Dallas, TX. Mr. Dabney was preceded in death by his father; both grandfathers and grandmothers. The family would like to express special thanks to everyone for their acts of kindness during our bereavement.
