HOLLINGSWORTH, Ms. Kim Yvette - Age 58, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, November 30, 2020 at Word of Life Christian Church, 460 W. Atherton Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Monday. Ms. Hollingsworth will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Ms. Kim Yvette Hollingsworth was born January 22, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Queen Ella (Battle) Richards and Williams Avery. Kim was a resident of Flint, Michigan. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Kim also loved cooking, telling jokes and going to the gambling joint. She enjoyed getting in her car, riding listening to music and being home watching CNN. Ms. Kim Yvette Hollingsworth leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Kenyetta Hollingsworth and Karen Bryant; 5 sons, Davelle Hollingsworth, Dammone “Carlos” Bryant, Charles Bryant Jr., Marcus Bryant and Corneal Bryant; grandchildren, Khadija, Quinesha, Darrell, Kiyona, Deondre, Kamilya, Kamile, Ah’Reik, Daavion, Noah, Dacarri, Rashemeer, Keontae, Isriah, Dammone Jr., Keasia, Charles, Caleb, Cason and Christian; great-grandchildren, Bella and Brielle; 2 sisters, Josephine Hollingsworth and Nadine Hughes, both of Detroit, MI; 2 brothers, Anthony Avery of Flint and Michael Avery of Detroit, MI; 7 nieces including special niece, Angela Hughes; 6 nephews including special nephews, Steve, Shedrick, Allen Hollingsworth and Richard Grace; aunt, Lessie Washington; uncle, Willie D. “Buddy” Richards; a host of cousins including special cousins, Sandra Kay, Diane, Tammy, Beverly Grace and Tyra Richards; god-sons, Rodrick Roberts, Aaron Richards and Deorio Grace; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Robert Lee, Elena “Poochie” McElroy, JW and Sugar. Ms. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by her beloved son, Isaiah Clark; mother, Queen Ella Richards; father, William Avery; sister, Louis; brother, Calvin; nieces, Tamika Hollingsworth and Michelle.
