Ms. Kiesha Raquelle Talton

TALTON, Ms. Kiesha Raquelle - Age 39, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2023, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Friday. Ms. Talton will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday. Ms. Kiesha Raquelle Talton was born August 8, 1983 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Kelly Gay Sr. and Valerie Talton. Kiesha was a resident of Flint and graduated from Flint Northern High School. She enjoyed playing cards, watching soap operas and spending time with her kids until she became ill. Kiesha was the strongest person I have ever known. She fought this illness for 10 years. Kiesha fought all the way until the Lord took her home. Ms. Kiesha Raquelle Talton leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Alonna Gildersleeve; 2 sons, Alon Gildersleeve Jr., both of Atlanta, GA and Jacorien Isom of Flint; parents, Kelly Gay Sr. and Valerie (Roberto) Bakos; grandparents, Jeanne Gay and Clara (Clifford) Smith; 2 sisters, Shanté Childress of Hurst, TX and McKenzie Patterson of Middleton, OH; 3 brothers, Kelly (Brianna) Gay II, Eashon Williams Sr., all of Flint and Jalon Brown of Phoenix, AZ; 2 nieces, Beautiful Childress of Hurst, TX and Jerzie Rai Brown of Phoenix, AZ; 7 nephews, Devlon Childress Jr., Malachi Childress, both of Hurst, TX, Amir Gay, Kaisen Gay, Bryce Gay, Eashon Williams Jr. and Cashon Williams, all of Flint; 3 aunts, Kim Gay, Darlene Jennings, both of Middletown, OH and Cheryl Campbell of Las Vegas, NV; 4 uncles, William (Amanda) Gay, Kenneth (Katrina) Talton, Larry Talton and James Talton Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Alon Gildersleeve Sr. of Atlanta, GA, Jacorien Isom and Tika Parlor, both of Flint. Ms. Talton was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Talton Sr. and William Gay Sr.; cousin, Lawanda Faye Talton; aunties, Barbara Stewart, Luvenia Talton, Gail Morgan, Janice Bennett and Janet Day. The family would like to express special thanks to McLaren Hospice, Nurse Dee and staff of 11 South at McLaren-Flint, Mission Pointe staff including, Cindy, Shacqueal, Mina, Tonya, Lisa, Michelle and Dave Miller.
