ORR, Mrs. Kiata Ashley "KeKe" - age 26, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Cathedral of Faith Ministries COGIC, 6031 Dupont St. with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Supt. Christopher Martin officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 10 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. Orr will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Kiata Ashley Orr “Ke Kee” was born October 17, 1987 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Corday and Felecia Hawkins. She was a graduate of Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 2005 and a Dental Assistant Student at Ross Medical Education Center-Davison. “Ke Kee” accepted Christ at a young age and attended Cathedral of Faith Ministries Church Of God In Christ with her husband and children. She was a current employee at Wal-Mart in Grand Blanc. “Ke Kee” was recently married on May 8, 2014 to the love of her life, high school sweetheart, Mr. SeQuan Orr. Mrs. Orr enjoyed spending quality time with her husband, children, family and friends. She also enjoyed eating out with her best friend, Shalicia Gill at their favorite restaurants, Benihana and Friday’s. Mrs. Orr was a woman of integrity, courage and wisdom even through her battle; she remained humble and had a joyful soul. Mrs. Kiata Ashley Orr “Ke Kee” leaves to cherish her loving memory: husband, SeQuan Orr; daughter, Kimora Orr; son, Jaiden Orr; parents, Corday and Felecia Hawkins; grandparents, Cherrol Brown and Joe Brown, Jr.; siblings, Cornieca Hawkins, Steven Hawkins, Corday (Marteka) Hawkins Jr. and Neice Azara Hawkins; mother-in-law, Shenitta (Chester) Stocker; fathers-in-law, Sammie Orr and Michael Vincent; grandmother-in-law, Glennie Greenard; sister-in-law, Tiffani Stocker; brothers-in-law, Corey Orr, Marquelle Edwards, Bryon and Bryce Leake; god-mothers, LaDonna Munerly and Gwen Harvey; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including special friends, Athena Simerson, Kimeesha “Mee Mee” Brown, Marlene Ingram and best friend, Shalicia Gill. Mrs. Orr was preceded in death by her grandparents, Archie and Mary Hawkins; uncles, Archie Hawkins, Jr. and Steven Lamont Hawkins. The family would like to express special thanks to Supt.
