Kermit Ware,

WARE, Mr. Kermit, Sr. - Age 77, passed away Tuesday, October 26,, 2010 at Briarwood Manor. Family hour 10 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1309 N. Ballenger Hwy., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m., Rev. Dr. Tara Sutton officiating. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Monday. Mr. Ware will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 2-6 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Kermit Ware, Sr. was born September 27, 1933 in New Albany, Mississippi, the son of Nathaniel and Jennilla Ware. Kermit was a resident of Mt. Morris. He attended Bethel United Methodist Church. Kermit attended Flint Central High School and Mott Community College. He was Honorably Discharged from the United States Air Force. Kermit was employed by the City of Flint. His hobbies included fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family. He enjoyed everything his children and grandchildren enjoyed. Kermit was a true family man; he raised his three boys into men and his two little girls into princesses. Mr. Kermit Ware, Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Margie R. Ware of Mt. Morris, MI; two daughters, Monta L. Ware (Keith) Watkins of Detroit, MI and Margery L. (Olivier) Siard of Paris, France; three sons, Kermit Ware, Jr. of Flint, Howard E. (Teresa) Ware of Macomb, MI and Kevin S. (Tonya) Ware of Lindenhurst, IL; grandchildren, LaToi, LaKeisha, Kermit III and Ashley Ware, Gordeau and Tarcie Watkins, all of Detroit, MI, Ian and Zeke Ware, both of Lindenhurst, IL, Zachary and Yasmin Siard, both of Paris, France; great-grandchildren, Annie Ware, Arianna Hollins and Aiden Ware, all of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Olillian Ellis of Lancaster, CA and Margaret (Robert) Marve of Flint; sister-in-law, Tressie Ware of Forest, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends including special friends, Bonnie Woodard, Joe Ellis and Rudolph Ellis. Mr. Ware was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Jennilla Ware; brothers, Kendric and Orlander Ware; daughter-in-law, Annie G. Ware; mother and father-in-law, Joe Pink and Beatrice Ellis; and sister-in-law, Delphine Ware.
