Mr. Keno Kendez Lockridge

LOCKRIDGE, Mr. Keno Kendez, Age 42, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, at McLaren-Flint. Mr. Lockridge will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed Friday, April 10, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Mr. Keno K. Lockridge was born July 5, 1977 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ms. Linda Lockridge and Keno Conners. Keno loved to dress, basketball, dancing, art, music and being a part of C.A.P. Group. Above all his love for family and friends. He was loving, caring, helpful, protective and proud that he was the No. 1 Grandson holding up 1 finger looking back and saying “where y’all at back there.” Then saying “mom you and granny are the most important women in my life and my daughter is my queen.” Keno attended Flint Northwestern High School and Atterbury Job Corps Center, Edinburgh, IN. He was employed at McCormick & Schmick’s, Indianapolis, IN before returning home and completing the Strive Program. Mr. Keno K. Lockridge leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Kenosha Easley; 3 sons, Keno Lockridge Jr., Kendez Lockridge, all of Indianapolis, IN and Keon Lockridge of Burton, MI; mother, Ms. Linda Lockridge; father, Keno Conners; dad, Gary Gilbert Sr.; grandmother, Mrs. Erma Bullock (his heart); 3 sisters, Tameka Jones, Donisha Gilbert, Lynnisha Gilbert; 4 brothers, Gary Gilbert Jr. “Lil Big Bro”, Lance Gilbert, Darnell Gilbert, all of Flint and Gerald Gilbert of Norcross, GA; 9 nieces; 12 nephews; great-nephew, Josiah Burton; 4 aunts, Angela “Angie” Hensley, Sheila Diltz, Veronica “Tweety” Thompson, all of Flint and Carlotta Conners of Lemon Grove, CA; 4 uncles, Paul Lockridge, Ray Lockridge, James Hensley, all of Flint and Larry Conners of Alabama; 3 great-aunts, Rose Lockridge of Flint, Pearl Robinson of Muncie, IN and Teola Hensley; great-uncle, Esau Joe Hensley, both of Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Mrs. Briana (Gerald) Gilbert; brother-in-law, Mr. Mashon (Tameka) Jones; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Farrah Bridges, T-Roc & C.A.P. Group, Tonya Love and Linda “Lulu” Prince. Mr. Lockridge was preceded in death by his grandparents, Riley Lockridge Sr. and Annette Conners; step-grandfather, Joe Bullock; great-grandparents, Fermon Lockridge Sr., Daisy Brinkley and Kizzie McLemore; aunt, Mona; uncles, Angelo and Larry Lockridge; great-uncle, Fermon Lockridge; cousins, Amari Lockridge and Bobbie McDuffie. The family would like to express special thanks to McLaren-Flint nurses, Christy and Jessica, McLaren and Hurley medical examiners and last but not least Uncle Paul aka “Uncle P” for suit and shoes. ********At Lawrence E. The prohibition on assemblages set forth in this section does not apply to: The prohibition set forth in this section does not abridge protections guaranteed by the state or federal constitution under these emergency circumstances.
