SHAW, Mr. Kenneth Carnell "K.C.", Age 26, departed this world to embark on new adventures on Saturday, April 14, 2007. The family hour will begin at 10AM Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1083 E. Stewart St., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Pastor Lewis Randolph officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Family and friends will assemble at the church 10AM Saturday. Mr. Shaw will be viewed during the 10AM family hour only. Mr. Kenneth Carnell "K.C." Shaw was born January 2, 1981 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Noah and Erma (Harwell) Shaw. His most recent employment was through Bob Evans Restaurant, as a Guest Host at the Center Road location, Burton, MI. Kenneth was a graduate of Northwestern High School "Class of" 1999 where he participated in the band as a choreographer and dancer. He was also a member of the school music choir and track team. After graduation, he entered Mott College as a student. He graduated from Avante Modeling School, Flint, MI and was a singer/dancer/designer, however, his passion was singing and dancing and he actively pursued a career in the music entertainment world, wherein, his performances and personality were exceptional. "K.C." was just an all around and talented individual and loved by many. He leaves behind to mourn his passing: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noah and Erma (Harwell) Shaw of Flint; 6 brothers, Colin Franklin, Jason Harwell, Anje', Eric, and Tylimacus Shaw, all of Flint, and Mark Cox; 2 sisters, Connie Shaw of Flint and Monica Key of Colorado Springs, CO; 4 nephews, Jordan and Jamari Franklin, Tylimacus Shaw, Jr., of Flint, and Laeson Key of Colorado Springs, CO; 4 nieces, Trinity, JaQuial, and Jazmon Shaw of Flint, and Lashonte Key of Colorado Springs, CO; grandmother, Jessie C. Harwell of Mason, TN; 4 aunts, Charlene Ghoston of Amory, MS, Clara (Stanley) Anderson of Bartlett, TN, Hilda Gilliam of Mason, TN, Donna Shaw of Flint; 5 uncles, Kenneth Harwell of Mason, TN, Roosevelt, James, and Theodore of Flint, and Herone Shaw of Los Angeles, CA; 5 great-aunts, Mrs. Ruth Coulter (a special great aunt), Mrs. Joyce (Harvey) Jones of Flint, Mrs. Connie Searcy of Memphis, TN, Mrs. Ceola Loverette of Carson, CA, and Mrs. Betty Dunbar of Jonesville, Louisina; 4 great-uncles, Willie Brown, Matthew Scott and Nebraska Scott of Flint, and Deloney Scott of Los Angeles, CA; great-great-aunt, Cooney Dunbar of Jonesville, LA; special cousins, Mrs. Sheila (Chris) Jones of Memphis, TN, Japonica Gilliam of Mason, TN, Christine Brown of Flint, Mrs. Cornell (Joe) Walton of Clio, and Lana Davis of Flint; a host of cousins other relatives and friends including special friends, Josie, Rashaunda "Money" Craig, Tyra "Beeper" and Tya "Umpiee" Gay, Nee-nee, Bree, Ameshia Callaway, Sharee Davis and Jessica Mays. Mr. Shaw was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis Porter, Roosevelt and Aleyne Shaw, Sr. The family wishes to express special thanks to Pastor Lewis Randolph at the Antioch Baptist Church Family, Pastor Henry C. Fuller and the Mt.Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Family, Bob Evans Restaurant's management and employees, of Burton, MI, Independence Village of Waterstone's management and employees of Oxford, MI and to everyone for all donations of every act of kindness.
