Mr. Kenneth Pringle Sr.

PRINGLE, Mr. Kenneth Sr. - Age 63, passed Monday, November 5, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10AM Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Apostle Dontez Williams, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10AM Wednesday. Mr. Pringle will lie in state in the chapel and may be viewed 2PM-8PM Tuesday. Mr. Kenneth Pringle Sr. was born April 25, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Alvin Sr. and Flora Pringle. He was a resident of Flint for his entire life. Kenneth began a new and wonderful life on November 5, 2018 when the Lord called him home. Kenneth graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. Previously, he attended Bryant Junior High School where he met his wife, the late Brenda Pringle. This union produced 1 daughter, Trenettie Pitts and 2 sons, Kenneth Pringle Jr. and Myron Pringle; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren that he adored. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Kenneth worked for Michigan Pavement Markings and was also caretaker for his mother. Kenny was a “Jack of All Trades”. He was also a plumber, electrician, painter, carpenter, landscaper, mechanic, barber and a chef; if you broke it he could fix it. Kenneth was also a protector to his family and someone everyone knew they could depend on. Mr. Kenneth Pringle Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: fiancé, Ms. Genevieve “Bea” Fields of Flint; daughter, Trenettie Pitts; 2 sons, Kenneth “Jug” Pringle Jr., both of Milwaukee, WI and Myron (Jennifer) Pringle of Parkersburg, WV; grandchildren, Reginald “Reggie” Bingham Jr. of Flint, Klaceé Pitts of Milwaukee, WI, Clifford “Tre” Pitts III of Chicago, IL, Kentaira Pringle and Cortez Smith, both of Milwaukee, WI, Nadia Pringle of Detroit, MI, Nadia Calvet and Lamar Calvet, both of Flint, and Lucas Calvery; 4 great-grandchildren; step-children, Alisa (Lamar) Calvet, Janene Garnett, Ashisha Garnett; mother, Flora Pringle; 3 sisters, Betty (Percy) Knapp of Flint, Tamara (Hernandez) Brown of Atlanta, GA and Lillie Powe of Grand Blanc, MI; 3 brothers, Alvin (Tarneseia) Pringle Jr., Michael Pringle and Timothy (Michelle) Pringle; mother-in-law, Mary Armstrong; sister-in-law, Delores Boggs; 2 brothers-in-law, Bobbie Jones Sr. and Gregory Boggs; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Anne Roach and Willie White. Mr. Pringle was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Pringle; father, Alvin Pringle Sr.; 2 sisters, Gloria Jones and Emma Butler; 2 brothers, Ralph Brown and Jimmy Pringle; and many aunts and uncles. The family would like to express special thanks to Genevieve “Bea” Fields for always being by his side and the Jones and Knapp family.
