DICKERSON, Mr. Kenneth Dwayne, Jr. - Age 20 passed away, Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Family Hour 10AM Monday, July 28, 2008 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 424 Kennelworth with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Dr. Roy I. Greer officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Monday. Mr. Dickerson now lies in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM today. Mr. Kenneth Dwayne Dickerson, Jr. was born October 22, 1987 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Kenneth D. and Karmon Dickerson, Sr. He was baptized at an early age at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church and shortly afterwards the family relocated to Stone Mountain, Georgia. Kenneth was a faithful dietary cook at Crestmont Healthcare in Fenton, Michigan. His hobbies included basketball, listening to music, partying, and spending time with his family. Mr. Kenneth Dickerson, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Kenneth and Karmon Dickerson, Sr.; 3 sisters, Monique, Shakena, and Dorian of Stone Mountain, GA; grandmothers, Maxine Tornes and Valerie Mangham; grandfather, Frank Mangham, Sr. all of Flint, MI; great-grandmother, Louise Jackson of Flint, MI; fiancé, Ya’Vonda March; step-children, Aniyah March and Kevin Tiggs, Jr. unborn child, Ke’Azya Dickerson; 4 nieces; 3 nephews; 4 aunts; 5 uncles and a host of many great aunts, great uncles and cousins including very special cousins, Matthew, Darrius, Antonio, Jr., Anthony, Jr., Brittany, Brandon, Haywood, Ta’Daria, Darwin, Jr., Quaz, Lanisha, Tina and DJ; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Tommy T. Hall, Torre, Rock, Tarel, Bryan, Black, Dread, Snoop and Mike. Kenneth was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Mr. Willis Jackson, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Audrey Sutton, Jessie Mangham and Anna Lue Mangham; grandfather, Mr. Ezell Dickerson; aunt, Sarah and Brenda; nephew, Mathew Capps; god-brothers, Lonnie Rushin, Jr. and Marquan Hinkle.
